I must must try the concealer !! I’ve spent soooo much $$$ on high end ones & all crap !! Seriously crap .. been using the dior flash foundation as my concealer.. few shades lighter that works better then what I have .. but will pick this up after I’m done quarantined.. 🤒.. thx Lisa always looking fabulous!!
At 56 this is my go to concealer. I’ve never tried the brightener so may give it a go. I honestly think your review is spot on. For the over forties it’s perfect both thin in texture but great coverage. What higher end concealer do you feel is closest in consistency?
I used this years ago and may need to try it again. It looks really beautiful on you and I hope this will work for me as well! As I've gotten older I find many concealers are too thick and heavy or are very drying on my undereye area. I used to love the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Under eye concealer because it is a more moisturizing formula, but find the texture is too thick and heavy for this area. There are so few concealers that work for women over 45, but this one looks like a winner!
These are really great products. I use to use them regularly. Not sure why i stopped. I have a container full of high end correctors and concealers and can’t say they’re better than the maybelline. 🤷♀️
I've bought this twice over the years and at 42, it just gets worse for me. Everyone says this product is thin but I find it to be thick and heavy and accentuates my under eye lines. Settles into the creases terribly. Which I could see on you when you did the close up at the end.
@@Lisalifeandstyle I'm so sorry, rereading this I realize that last line sounds really rude and that wasn't my intention at all! I'm so sorry! I think I'm honestly not sure if what we see that you (or any beauty vlogger) records is as detailed as what I see on myself irl when I'm applying makeup, if that makes sense? Just because I'm so much closer to the mirror than anyone is to a camera so I can't tell if it's my skin or application or if what I consider cakey and settling into lines is considered normal. Because I have this problem with literally every concealer under my eyes. So I get confused about why so many people say this is such an amazing concealer for aging skin because I don't see a difference between this and others and I don't really know why that is or what an "acceptable" amount of settling or cakiness would be. I hope I explained that well enough so that you understand why I said I could see it at the end there and you know that it wasn't meant as any kind of insult. Just a lot of confusion from a 42 yr woman who went from perfect skin to dry, aging skin practically overnight and still can't figure out how to paint this new canvas of mine, lol.
Love this concealer. It's crazy that you don't have more subscribers. Def one of my favorite youtubers.
Thank you so much!! You are so sweet!
Every time I go back to using them I think why did I stop? Great product and can't beat the price!
Yes Debbi! That is me too!
These products are my go to for a corrector and concealer! I have used them for years and love them. Thank you for a great review!
I totally agree! So glad you love them too!
These are a classic goodie!!! I always rip the sponge off and just get product straight from the tip.
ohhh great tip thanks Jeny!
I personally still use both of those and love the coverage and the lightness of them. Glad they worked out for you. 😉
So glad to hear this! Thanks for sharing Milica!
Literally just got the neutralizer and light concealer in today! Oldie but goodie!
Yay cant wait! Hope you love them too!
Thank you for reviewing a classic drugstore product!

This is an amazing corrector. My favorite concealer right now is the Laura Mercier I just reviewed!
Thanks for showing how to put both products on!!! Looks great!!
You are so welcome!

so glad you enjoyed this and you agree! My favorite higher end one is Limelife. It is a thicker one though- wax based which for me stays great too!
@@Lisalifeandstyle I will definitely look into that thank you Lisa :-)
Hi Lisa, Should I put the brighter before foundation , or can you put over foundation.
Happy New year!!
you can use it whichever way you feel looks the best on you!😊

OMG yes I totally agree. I also used to love the bye bye under eye but now it seems way to thick for me! I hope you like this as much as I do!
Maybelline has an actual neutralizer 150 that you can use first then concealer then the brightener. That may help you to see a bigger difference.
Interesting. Thanks.
Thank you for showing how to open it, I just purchased mine and couldn't figure it out
Glad I could help!

It is amazing and from amazon- bit.ly/2LbVboR
I've been wearing the concealer for so long!!! Love it. I only just broke out and got the elf camo concealer to try, just recently (I'm 43yo).
Love to hear this! I will have to give that a try too! Thanks Shari!
@@Lisalifeandstyle I'm keen to put it through its paces. 😊
What conceler colour did you use please
Sorry this is long ago. I am not sure.

I totally agree I forget then when I go back I am wondering why I stopped using them!
Would i use under eye correct before the brightener?
The brightner is also a corrector but if you wanted both yes correct first! 😀

oh no. Sorry to hear that!
