Nintendo really said "here's your dream Mario RPG announcement" three times in a row. So glad it's not a remake, it'll make it feel so much more fresh and exciting compared to TTYD and RPG. It just looks better and better the more times I rewatch it
This game's theme of electrical equipment like plugs and outlets is a weird one, but I really like it, I love a commitment to a theme and every NPC being themed around it.
Tbf: SS was laughter and Beans Pit was Aliens and time travels Bis was self explanatory Dream Team was Dreams And Paper Jam was also self explanatory I'd say this pretty par for the course.
Honestly, at this point they should just remake the first 3 DKC Games and give us the DKCR controls for DK since they don't want to make a new one. It'll only take 9 more years.
WE’RE SO BACK! I played Dream Team and Bowser’s Inside Story on the 3ds when I was younger and loved them so I’m so happy to see the series isn’t cancelled!
BRO I CRIED TEARS OF JOY, MY MOM WAS CONCERNED FOR ME (im 15 and i was in the car with my aunt going somewhere when i saw the direct), JESUS CHRIST, WELCOME BACK, MARIO BROTHERS!!!
5:48 That's the part that makes me so delighted. It wasn't about remakes or anything. It was never about getting remakes. We just wanted a brand spankin' new Mario & Luigi adventure. More originality. More creativity. The same originality and creativity that birthed the games we love. Cool as the remakes are, there's a reason they sold so low. They didn't scratch that Mario & Luigi itch that we've all been feening for. Not in the same way the originals did. It's the fact that they learned from that mistake and just said: "Screw it, they don't want remakes? FINE. IF THAT'S HOW YOU WANNA PLAY... *BLAM* NEW MARIO & LUIGI. It's insane and I love it. They nipped the problem right in the bud by simply choosing to make an entirely new one. Because that's all we wanted and all that was needed for the series to be breathed life into again. This makes me so hopeful for the future of Mario & Luigi. All that's left is to know the development team behind this. 7:48 This too! It's so faithful and feels like they just painted Mario & Luigi in a fresh new coat of paint. The graphical change is so seamless that I'm already used to it. It's barey a change at all. It's just like they upgraded and refined the original artstyle. It's perfection.
WOOOOOOOOOO Also I feel like the “Mario sports team” might be working on this one. Cause This looks very “strikers” coded. Especially the ending soccer shot.
I can't help but feel the Mario 3D Land Vibes this is giving me and paired with the beautiful music in the trailer I somehow got Mario Galaxy (my favorite Mario game of all time) vibes, too, I can't even quite explain why. I'm beyond excited, this looks like a game that's gonna make you feel all cozy for some reason :) I played Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions on the 3DS when I was younger, this brings back some memories♡
I recently purchased a white DSi LL, as well as a physical copy of Bowser's Inside Story with its case, manual and everything, that game introduced me into the series though I never got to play the other ones until around 2020 when we all got locked inside. I had a PS3 laying around so I decided to jailbreak it. And using retroarch I played Superstar Saga for the first time. I did end up getting a new 2DS XL later on. I'll be re-running the first three games before the this one comes out
I think Nintendo is trying to put these Mario story RPG games out because of the film release that happened not too long ago. Perhaps they think fans want more Mario stories because of the movie. Thoughts?
I'm personally not that stoked for the new Mario&Luigi but I still hope it does well. I always thought it was awful that they just let the series die. Will DEFINITELY pick it up if it reviews well!
I believe they decided to make a new game because of how poor the remakes did, with the Bowser's Inside Story one becoming one of the worst selling Mario games and shutting down Alpha Dream. They might not have wanted to risk remaking a Mario & Luigi game in fear of that happening, especially with how late into the Switch's life we're in, so we got this new game. I honestly prefer this, and maybe we could get M&L remakes on Switch 2 since they wouldn't have to worry about them selling poorly because of the late releases on a console
You know what's even crazier? The company that made the original Mario and Luigi games is dead. That's right. Alpha Dream declared bankruptcy in 2023. HOW God really do be working miracles everyday 😭

The videos where Protendo can hardly finish a sentence are my absolute favorite. You can just hear the big ol smile on his face

I think I went through the full seven stages of grief during the DK announcement
Just wait till he returns a fourth time

I did like Starlo. I hope starlow and Toadsworth aren’t dead. Aside from those two not showing though I am still very excited.
You have inspired me to read all of Snoultet's dialogue in Snotloud's voice.

Mario Strikers is developed by a different studio from tennis and golf (Next Level Games instead of Camelot)
@@seroujghazarian6343 oh I didn’t realize that

Directs like this makes me wish I had a switch
No Luigi striped socks...
Somehow I feel like this is like Mario sunshine and Mario rpg cause peach hasn’t been captured yet.

I cant believe Mario rpgs are finally good again

They removed Luigi's striped socks. Zero out of ten game.
