You made a great looking blade and I enjoyed your video. I must say though, watching you drill and deburr holes on the drill press with gloves on and flick chips off the bit while it was turning definitely gave me the willies. In my machinist career I’ve seen two drill press operators almost loose a hand wearing gloves while they operated the drill press and getting tangled in the drill bit and spindle. Stay safe please.

Judging by the blank, it was a ready-made stunning blade, it was only necessary to make a handle and sharpen it.
It wasnt a blank.... he cut and ground an old piece of metal...
@@moojuicemajik No, it was obviously some kind of big knife, it was already in a ready-made shape, and even with descents. If attach the handle to two screws, there will be a large meat knife, or even a hatchet)

The blade at the end looks like it had subtle dark rainbow like hues to it. How did you achieve that finish on the blade?

Odio vedere le persone usare le lime come una sega. Non lo capiscono che le lime si rovinano se limi all'indietro. È ridicolo la lima non lim all'indietro ma solo in avanti e facilissimo capirlo
