this boss looks a lot like the mount Astaroth was riding in Diablo 4. His mechanics are similar to the Astaroth mount too.

I am pretty sure the part you say you don't have footage of with the soak, is in your videos. Look at 1:31 the swirl on the ground is the soak and notice how it created a lava pool bc no one was standing there
Edit: It could be that other videos just assumed that was the soak visual when really it wasn't.
Yeah those swirlies in our footage were an old mechanic that got replaced with this new one. They are super similar though for sure. Gotta love when they change stuff AFTER testing lol

This boss on normal felt like an lfr boss
On heroic too. They really messed this one up. -Jim
I killed him drunk on normal and I forgot the mechanics. All I know is my tanking partner was thrown into the lava.
