I always enjoy hunting football fields. I hunted one for three days and found over $100 in clad and not one piece of jewelry of any type. Others have been very productive. I had one where I found over $50 in clad in six hours equaled a coin about every 2 minutes. I was pooped. Not knowing is what makes it a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing your hunt.
@@mowerdog I just looked at my pic. There was $47.50 in quarters. Best I remember I counted at about $35 dollars and knew a $50 day was possible. It was fun but I will break it down into 2 or 3 days the next time. The knees don't have that many ups and down in them any longer.
@TheFreshRinse I have tried to make contact with his dad three times for verification without success. But, I'm thinking it is. If so, there will be another short video of the ring story only. Thanks for watching my non washing videos! Lol..
The soil is warming up. As evidenced by the fact you are now seeing earth worms in every plug. In winter, the worms hibernate, waiting for soil to thaw before moving upward. They are always a welcoming sight! The Predator Raptor 31 (c) moves dirt! Dirtfishing is the only one I know that ever broke a Raptor 31(c). lol He used to stay busy! Real busy! I always enjoy your videos. I will search your videos to see the link for the 'beast' Predator 31(c). Those religious items I would always keep them! It is interesting to see what religious medallions are found and then to study why that particular one is found in that particular area. I know a metal detectorist on the northeast coast that finds the most intriguing ones. I am going to go there now and see what he has found. Thanks for the video.
A little. But I'm really opening the notch up to take in the occasional blips above and below the notch. It doesn't mean if I get a solid 30 I'm digging. Just opens it enough to give a little more room.....
Class of '79 here too...nice hunt.
Hey old man!!
Great video! Thanks
My pleasure
You do cut some very respectful plugs...I look up to you for that.
The ground should look as though we were never there. Greetings from Finland!!
I try. Sometimes without success. I do agree.... leave no trace behind.

That's a lot of deep knee bends!!

You said the cross was silver but it rang up in the low 30's. Could it be white gold?
It could be? Thanks for watching!
Why cut the whole plug you know it will die., But anyway good work.
If you open your nickel slot to 30 or 31 you will be inviting pulltabs won't you? Curious if that's worth it...
