Rechargeable 1 million candle power hallogen spotlight repair.

Short video on repairing a cheap Chinese spotlight torch. This one was my friends he bought it in the 90s and it's been sitting around mine forever. Instead chucking it out I've decided to order a new battery and repair. If you have one why not fix it. A very useful torch to keep in the car over the winter.

Where can I buy the inverter for this. The battery is DC, but the halogen bulb requires AC and the little inverter panel does the conversion, and mine is not working?

@@thomassawyer4717 mines just dc to the bulb. No conversion. Bulbs would generally run on both

I have 2,000,000 Candle Power Halogen Spotlight and the power sign (the redlight) can showed when plugs it to a power point and or but it can not produce any light. Why?

Draper made some of them. You can use any charger that's 15 volt DC.

How do you change the bulb?

These bulbs are either 6 volt or 12 volt. Mine is 6 volts. It is held in with a wire clip and push on spade connectors. It's fairly easy to change. You can get spares all over place car shops etc. eBay.

@@petermortimer3521 mine is on two push on clips and held in with a metal spring clip. Bulbs are available car shops and eBay. Mines never gone so it's never needed to be changed. The torch is still going strong since I've made this video and I have used it now over two winters on deliving work.

@@MrBilbo44uk Mine is similar to your torch. I set it to charge, although both the red & green light were on the charging plug, so should be fully charged & left I it in overnight to make sure. Next day light would come on so I thought it might be the bulb, which I cannot get out of its casing no matter how hard I try. I can turn it around in the socket, but it does not come out of the housing.
