  • Been a long while (even longer since I filmed this, as I've painted a fair amount of the grey plastic and resin shown here in the video) but I finally got around to popping open a box of Stalkers for the Nords.
They feel a bit of a swing and a miss for me, at least design- wise. I'd rather they have gone more with either the feral animal look or the more rugged woodsmen style rather than a strange mashup of both.
I guess I've been a bit spoiled with the plastic releases since these came out. With the Old Dominion right around the corner too (literally- my boxes arrive the day after I posted this) I'm curious to see if we'll get alternate or updated sprues of some of the original plastics. They aren't bad per say, but there's definitely room for improvement- which we've certainly seen in kits like the longbowmen and the various W'adrhun sets. They definitely fill a niche within a Nords army, but I still think I prefer the Nordic Ninja look (and stats) of the Bowchosen.
Curious about them? Check out the rules as well as the models here!

Those are looking good...they are putting out a great variety models...and the scale has to be refreshing to paint. OK I'm in , this inspired me to get into their sets. They've come a long way since their first offerings, now I've got a new itch to scratch.... Great Show!

I have their Old Dominion arriving in the next few hours, so we'll certainly have to take a look at the latest and greatest once those arrive!

Would blend well with the Skyrim Miniatures Game!

They remind of the Gangrel clan of vampires from Vampire the Masquerade RPG.

Were Gangrel the more feral ones? Never was up on VtM much.
I did however play Rage fairly regularly. Had quite a collection.
I'm now seeing that Guy Davis did artwork for a fair amount of White Wolf books. Hmmm... I may have to hunt some down, especially if he did a majority of the art in any of them.
