When I was a little kid I had the Carnage action figure that came with a huge hand with claws on it and his other hand was an axe. Also had a rubber removable mask... It was one of my favorite toys..
Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage is one of my most favourite Spider-Man stories of all time.

Yes yes and yes carnage is one of my favorite marvel comics characters/villains I love symbiotes and wish I was bonded to one. Venom is also one of my favorites too. What you have said about the bond between the carnage symbiote and Cassidy at 5:43 is one of the biggest things they got wrong in the sequel venom movie let there be carnage.
What you have to remember is that Let there be Carnage is based in one of the multi verse worlds. So it’s going to be “wrong” in a few different places. Such as that the Carnage Symbiot and Cassidy refer themselves separately like Venom and Brock. Such as “We are Venom”. Carnage never referred itself as separate beings. They joined so completely that they referred to themselves as “I”.

@@trandin4510While you're not all that wrong, there also have been many many moments in the comics where Carnage did refer to himself as "we" or "us", or other word like "our". But yes, for the most part, Carnage uses "i" to refer to himself.

I hated the movie depiction. Carnage is almost always shown to be physically smaller than Venom but much stronger, that’s part of what makes him cool. Also I hated the venom looking teeth, Carnage normally has red and black teeth. In the movie they almost looked pallet swapped.
I dunno, still managed to make it work, especially with Woody Harrellson in the role

Were it not for the great animated 90s show, Carnage would not be one of my favorite Spidey villains, and one of my favorite villains of all time. The episodes where Carnage comes into being by Baron Mordo to aid Venom are impeccable.

I started disliking the symbiotes when the started mutating them to be more powerful just by reproducing and finding a new host. The original idea was perfect, it slightly bolstered the host, gave some body-covering shape-shifting aspects, and got bolstered itself if the host was enhanced or super-powered before bonding... keeping that when it went to the next host if need be. The Venom symbiote spawning mutants of its own kid was forgivable after leaving Parker... but then that chaotic alt-reality mess leading to that lazy writing planet of origin ruled by their god where Venom was a basic and weak... as if its base form was what Spider-Man got, not what he mutated into via bonding with him... with all those symbiotes for some reason, even the ones with no link to Spider-Man, having a form of Spider-Man's insignia.
Carnage was an awesome OP Spider-Man AND Venom enemy, but lazy writing afterwords just sh^t all over them, even making all symbiotes pure crap as any kind of serious story element retroactively because of that. The Marvel big-screen universe can only improve by breaking canon.

Venom 11 tons lifting.
Carnage 25 tons lifting.
That's was before Venom are a bunch of symbiotes including a version of carnage. That pushed venom to 30+ tons lifting range. Carnage returned stronger, equal to Venom though this time.
Then Carnage gave Birth to Toxin. The Strongest Symbiote yet. Class 100 strength...
Since then Venom & Carnage both got stronger and are in the 50+ ton range.

Venom's original host in the comics was actually Deadpool. Deadpool's crazy was too much for Venom so he moved on.

No the original holes for the black symbiote was Spider-Man from Secret wars. Then he check the Symbian into leaving his body in a bell tower in New York Dana Fabian bonded with Eddie Brock they work so well together because they both hated Spider-Man that’s why they named themselves venom they were the opposite of a spiders poison which is a venom.
Originally yes, but there was different continuity or authors trying to give their origin after the secret wars issue came out. Like supposedly it bonded with scorpion then jumped to Eddie. Unless it's a what if issue. I could be wrong but I'm just explaining with what I remembered.
Actually Venom didn't attach to Spider-Man first. It actually attached itself to Deadpool, but thought he was too bat shit crazy.

The carnage movie was trash. Woody Harrelson was a terrible choice to play kletus kasedy . And the story line was bad as well.
