Awesome subwoofer , but whats crazy is people on the east coast don’t know about earthquake supernova’s home theater line except me and a few others , I have two p12 home theater subwoofers and a friend of mine has two mklv supernova 15 ’s and they kick like bruce lee !!!!!!!
You could not be more correct!!! I currently have the supernova 15 and the supernova 12 in my home system. Everybody over here is about the big hi-fi names which are definitely good but at the same time they will not knock your teeth out or break things in your house like these will and I'm not exaggerating at least on the break stuff in the house part...lol! Also for all the haters, yes they are very musical if you know how to tune a system.
I made my box myself used 22 mm MDF put in earthquake dbxi12d subwoofer and slamps m12 passive radiator on the bottom, made my custom 500w amplifier. Box volume About 50 - 60 litter. Box weights 30 - 40kg. It lifts the box in air on serious bass.
Den ser ut att hoppa galet mycket! Är det ett problem att den gör det? Även - är den bra för musik? Spänstig och snabb? Jag har aldrig hört talas om märket tidigare, så är lite nyfiken. Hälsningar från Sverige! :) 👋
Why is there a screw in the middle of the passive radiator? Also if you want the original subwoofer with the high excursion driver dynamics, you want a sunfire sub- www.sunfire.com/product/xteq-subwoofer-eq-dual-12-multivoltage-XTEQ12
No, That particular design is sealed chamber that's how their passive radiator system works... They do make some midline subs that are ported but these are the Big Daddy's that break stuff in your house and I do mean break stuff!
It almost looks to me like the cabinet was actually jumping around a bit. maybe because its sitting on carpet. but that'd piss me off. plus I reason if its using energy to move the cabinet its less energy that's moving air with the driver. witch would mean to me its inefficient. That said I still want one! or maybe even 2..
I got the same subwoofer like this one... And it is jumping around on the floor. And dont have any carpet. When you are playing a movie it will move 20cm..
Simple fix is do yourself a favor and order some speaker spikes with placement disks and simply anchor them that way. That's what I do with my supernova 15 and the supernova 12 in the video that you're watching. They just kind of move back-and-forth when you rip-em. The spikes sitting on top of the disks keep them anchored in one spot.
That thing is a beast 💪.

damnation, I was waiting for Chuck Norris to jump out of the box.
The woofer should be moving but not its cabinet.
Sexy sub and passive radiator combo
THICC
looks like it needs to be mounted to a weight like a large concrete block to prevent the box from vibrating
made myself the same option, the sound became much better and more powerful, the passive radiator is the best acoustic design.
Super
The box needs an upgrade, it looks like it’s having a seizure.

Its was going to break that box
Nice
Where can I find this types of woofers in Kenya
Jeg havde den her subwoofer på trægulv. Den hoppede som sindssyg hen ad gulvet. Men den kunne fandme spille.
Den ser ut att hoppa galet mycket! Är det ett problem att den gör det?

I can’t see why people just can’t play music with a nice deep baseline 😳, all this is is vibration 😳 there are many non copyrighted tunes out there.
Well that looks like fun. Does it come in ported?
No, that sub is passive radiator tuned, ported need much bigger kabinet.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Kan i ikke lige skure lidt op?"
Haha

@@nathanwalsh3028 I use SVS Subwoofer Isolation feet. Works well, and keeps the sub from hopping around.
@@dr.x3022 That can’t be good,..
Seems like a beast, but they need to beef it up so the box is not moving all over the place.
Only idea that came to me is to screw the box to the ground.
