Ud over det, er jeg også selvlært webudvikler. (Autodidact), men er pt. også igang med Web-Integrator uddannelsen, for at få papir på min kunnen.

That’s not enough power for those huge speakers !
Could be , but its not playing it in a very big room , so he will be ok . Notice that he had to turn it down when the bass came on . its too big a system for that space to be honest.
High-end with equalizer?Sorry , your equipment produce a very bad distorted sound ,i can't tolerate the sound for more than 1 second!

I have a Clair Brothers SAE 2600. Likely original, never had the time to restore...I'm afraid to operate too much though. LOVE the look
Don't be. It's quite simple and easy to dismantle. I have done that on many SAE amplifiers now and also the original SAE 2600 (two of them). You can see some of the SAE amplifiers I have restored/repaired here: worldofhifi.dk/?page=hi-fi_tweaks If you want to sell, let me know. I have not tried on the "Clair Brothers edition" but know of their modifikations on the 2600 and the story behind it. And it could be fun to try the amp out. :-)
Steven, would you ever consider sharing some of your 2600 rebuild knowledge? For me one of the biggest challenges is where do source the right components. Thank you for sharing your/our passion of this incredible brand!
The SAE amplifiers are simply addictive. Bought a used MK 2500 in the early 80's, when I was in Jr. High. Hooked ever since. Still have that 2500...and 2600, 2400 and A501. 2700B Eq is also very cool. Thanks for sharing. May I ask who services your SAE gear? Thx!
Have had a love affair with SAE since the ealry 80's, especially the amplifiers. I still have 2600, 2500, 2400 and A501. I haven't used them in years but hard to part with them. However, I have decided to finally sell them. May God have mercy on me.

To tell you the truth you don't need to spend this much money to achieve good sounding stereo, all you need is a proper speaker set up. I have a panasonic mini stereo with cd changer older model. The unit is equipped with subwoofer. I added a profile jvc sub and man! the sound is better than 5grand receiver. Just a simple improvise.
The woofer should be moving but not its cabinet.

Indeed I have. You can see the process here: worldofhifi.dk/?page=hi-fi_tweaks/sae/sae_p50/sae_p50_(recap-repair-tweak) The sound is good for a small SAE amplifier as it is. Good dynamic in the bass responds and "silky" top. But it is not the best SAE sounding amplifier. ;-)
@@stevengreen1105 Splendid! Great job with restoring it! I have a chance to buy SAE P50 for less than 100$ but without listening in my system. How about the mids? I've heard P50 is very forward with it (and thats the quality I'm looking for actually).
@@john_de_jong $100 is a good price if it is in good condition. ;-) The "mids" are a little bit laid back actually, that's means the "highs" are the must dominated in the "sound-image". But if you have a "dark" sounding speaker, I will say it could be a good match. If you paring it with a "bright" sounding speaker, it will tend to have a more "metallic" sound to it.
@@stevengreen1105 Thank you. Yes, that's the problem: I have bright sounding speakers. Currently I have Accuphase PRO-2 power + Audio Innovations 800c pre combo. It's good but annoying in my favorite music genres. I've been hoping to solve the problem the cheapest way, but I guess the Bryston is my only option...
@@john_de_jong Ahh okay. On what you say, I think the "highs" from the P50 will be a bit too much for you. The P50 is not a "organic/warm" sounding amplifier but the Bryston is. ;-)

It can be done for sure. But both of them have a dark sound. So you will end up with a very dark sound. But Rubicon is a great speaker and Parasound are also a very good amplifier. So the best thing is if you can try it in your home and let your ears deside. 😉

@@richarddegannes2928 dark sound is when you feel like you get more bass out of the soundpicture when you get of the middle/highs. But if you like good dynamic/potent bass and a silky highs that please your ears. It is the way to go. But if you listen more to guitar and stuff there will be missing some of the note in the middle of the sound. The system is VERY good at electronics music because you get soo much fun out of the bass and you will NOT need a subwoofer for that combo. 😊

looks like it needs to be mounted to a weight like a large concrete block to prevent the box from vibrating
made myself the same option, the sound became much better and more powerful, the passive radiator is the best acoustic design.

Those speakers sounded great on my 1 inch computer speakers. ;) I appreciate what Buchardt has accomplished though from the reviews I have listened to. "Density" of the sound and huge bass rivaling a floor stander.
