Very brave Lisa doing the mud. Flamingos are pink because of what they feed on. For example Shrimp and alge theses contain Cartenoids . Just researched it for you Lisa 😂😂xx
Loved this one Lisa in the mud and mark saying there’s eels going up your leg and toilet roll in it I was crying laughing . Thanks for making us laugh 😂 xx
I sure did chuckle Lisa when you were scooping up the mud and wretching 😂 Air fryer Eggs - soft boiled to dip soldiers 8 mins at 150c / hard boiled to mash with mayo 10 mins at 150c perfect - but hard to peel! 👍 thanks guys - maybe donate some of chiccos old✨ coats to animal shelter - then Lisa can buy more 😆👍
Hi Lisa, Mark & Chicco 👋 Flamingos get their pink color from the food they eat, which contains carotenoids, a natural pigment found in many plants. Happy travels guys Xx
Thank you Lisa, mark and Chico for this lovely vlog you were very brave Lisa having that mud bath well done you that super market looked great I would have enjoyed going around there take care keep safe best wishes Sheila and family
Lisa and Mark, I have cried withyou when you lost Woody and laughed with you and held my breath with you when Mark gets too close to the edge. Thank you for your videos. Yesterday we had to put down our dachshund, Eitri, but watching Lisa covering herself in mud brought a smile to my face on a difficult day. thank you both
Hi Lisa and Mark, I have successfully boiled eggs in my airfryer after Sharon and Martin Butler shared their method! I like mine hard boiled for my salad so you cook the eggs at 150° for 11 minutes, then drop straight into cold water to peel. If you want soft boiled you need to cook on 150° for 8 mins. No water is required! What I usually do is let the eggs reach room temp before airfrying. I usually do 3 or 4 in one go, peel and refrigerate them in a Tupperware to add onto salad or make egg mayo sandwiches 🥪 Yes Lisa it is true that flamingos do become coloured from the lakes they live in. The documentary I watched was showing the Pink Flamingos in USA that live on a pink salt lake! Love you both and Chico Lynda (A Mancunian lass who lives in Penang Malaysia) X
Well done Lisa you were brave to get into that water, your skin looks great. Love chiccos little outfit. Looking forward to your next vlog, take care xxx
Love these two (and of course chico)Having watched many different channels l can honestly say northerners on tour are my favourite people, funny ,genuine and down to earth, exactly what l love in people xx❤️

Watching you Lisa, in the mud with Mark showering you with words of dread was so funny! From human poop to bacteria and general words of doom, at least you had a go! Not like cowardly custard there!🤣😂. If you get any more jackets for Chico, you’ll need a bigger camper or a trailer! 😁 That was a real fun vlog, thanks guys! 🥰
Awe Lisa fair play to you I felt sorry when you had to scoop up the mud I really liked you pink robe you had on do you mind telling me where you got it please take care love watching you both always makes me smile ❤
Well done Lisa that was so funny and brave personal l couldn’t even attempt it. Love Chicco new coats he’s going to need them when you get back to England it’s cold and damp 🙈
That is true about flamingos. They do change dependent on what minerals are in the water. I believe we're you When in , There's a high concentrate of solfer .😊
Hello from the South of France. We have flamingoes here in the Camargue region too and yes, the saying you are what you eat is absolutely true. The algae and tiny shrimp in the water both contain carotene pigment. They are an ugly grey when they are born. A human would need to eat a ton of carrots to see their skin change colour, but in theory it could happen😂
Loved this you were both so funny ,really cheered me up . ,loved the mud bath ,don’t think I would want one though but good on you ,Mark was so funny .chicco looked Fab loved his new clothes .Great vlog thanks guys 😅
Lisa, Yes, flamingos do change their color, but this change is primarily due to their diet rather than any inherent ability to change color. Flamingos are born with gray feathers, and as they mature, their color changes to varying shades of pink and orange. This transformation is a result of the carotenoid pigments found in the algae and crustaceans they consume, such as shrimp. The more carotenoids they ingest, the more vibrant their coloration becomes. In captivity, if flamingos are not fed a diet rich in these pigments, they may retain a more muted gray or white coloration. Thus, their color is closely linked to their nutritional intake.
Such a funny and entertaining vlog guys, that mud Lisa 😂 Also, I need one of those massive kitchen rolls you saw, Tesco should stock these!! Love to the three of you. xx
Another entertaining vlog. Think you Lisa. I think youwere very brave for venturing into the mud but so many people say you definitely feel the benefits. Take care xx
Hi Lisa and mark. Lisa that was great that you had a go in the lake and got the mud, and put it on yourself, mark was so funny with his comments, but wasnt brave enough to go in there with you lol. That supermarket was fantastic, would have loved browisng round there. See you soon, stay safe xx
Hi Lisa. I’ve only just found your channel and I’m absolutely loving it so much. I’m from Manchester and have moved to the Algarve 17 years ago. I would love to do what you’re doing. Keep the videos coming ❤❤❤
You should try the salt lakes in the summer.... really stinking and boiling hot that hot that you could barely stand in the water. I live approx 15 minute drive towards Torrevieja. And yes in the summer time the flamingos have lovely pink / red plumage.
Flamingos get their pink colour from their food. They are also found in the microscopic algae that brine shrimp eat. As a flamingo dines on algae and brine shrimp, its body metabolizes the pigments - turning its feathers pink.
Beauty is pain 😂😂😂 this was absolutely hilarious. The wretching! You guys! Flamingos are pink because of the bacteria in the water. It turns them pink 😊
Oh that was a good video I ended the laugh. Lisa you are so game doing that mud thing. Omg wouldn’t even get me standing 8n the mud let alone putting it all over me Wow what a big shop. Thanks as always. Take care
Lisa” I was under the Humber bridge this morning, and I spotted a brown flamingo 😮,,, so yes they change colours to suit the water. Mark is right 👌he’s a God😀

Wow you were deffo brave to put that mud, if it stunk like that I’d of gone no thanks lol. Can’t wait to see chicco in his new clobber, will have to do us a doggy fashion show. Hope are all ok there and staying safe, take care on your journeys xxx
A soft boiled egg should be on 190 for 7 minutes and they are perfect, just do a hard boiled egg for 9 minutes and put into cold water afterwards to help with peeling them.
Flamingos turn pink because of the food they eat, mainly algae, shrimp, and other crustaceans that contain pigments called carotenoids. These pigments are broken down in the flamingo’s digestive system and then absorbed into fats, which eventually tint their feathers, skin, and even beaks pink. The more carotenoid-rich food they consume, the brighter their color becomes.
Ah yes Christmas in January is what we used to celebrate until the 1700's as per the Julian calendar, we now use the Gregorian calendar hence 12 days of Christmas 25 dec to 6 Jan, old Christmas day. 😁
Flamingos are born a whitey grey colour and actually turn pink through the algae they eat .. the same has prawns/shrimp. Some end up an orange or red colour and rare ones of blue and yellow have been seen and a very rare site only seen a couple of times is a black flamingo..
Flamingos get their pink color from the food they eat, which contains carotenoids, a red-orange pigment that's also found in carrots and tomatoes Great video

As far as I'm aware Flamingos eat both algae & shrimp which also eat the algae with Carotenoid pigments hence the striking pink colour 😁
Oh Lisa, rather you than me -taking one for the Motorhomers team -well done👍🏻

Flamingos get their pink color from the food they eat, which contains carotenoids, a red-orange pigment that's also found in carrots and tomatoes
Great video
