- Newly formed Rallying Group B Legends held their first meeting at Curborough on 2nd February. We also debuted our quadcopter this day. Although it was fresh out of the box, the potential for aerial footage is fantastic

Awesome Lawrence and Jordan, what a fantastic days recording. Im rather impressed.
Fantastic record of a great day. My brother had a ride in one of the 6R4s for his Birthday. The biggest smile I think I've ever seen on his face :)
For the past 5 years, a few of us have travelled to San Marino Rallylegend. That's a great fix for any rally fan :-)
Fantastic video.
well done with the ariel shot's.
will look forward to your next one.
keep up the great work.
Thank you.
I know of 1 person who came all the way from Launceston in Cornwall and another photographer from the valley's of S.Wales. Yes, it is a bit of a trek, but if you want to see these cars.......... Take a look at Race Retro website as they will have a live stage with similar cars and this is just outside Coventry at the end of February.
The Group B Rallying Legends group are now asking members/supporters that exact question. Look them up on Facebook (it''s a closed group).
The cossie driver really committed great action !!
Again, thank you for your comment. We're trying a new approach to our video footage.
Mr Tom Hammond (RIP) and his Pikes Peak replica, true Lehman Motorsport engine giving an honest 680BHP, good guy and a great car, often seen towing the Rally Car with a road going Green Sport Quattro road car, worked on his car a couple of times.
Thank you for your comment. As mentioned, the quadcopter was out of the box plus the conditions were gusty. These quadcopters are able to help obtain some fantastic footage. All I need to do now is to get some flying time before the next event in three weeks time.
Thanks for the comment ;-). As mentioned, the quadcopter was virtually straight out of the box, thus I didn't have that much experience with it, although it will be used a lot more. To answer your question:-
1.The morning session started clockwise, then went anti clockwise in the afternoon.
2.No, this was a non competitive day, just a demonstration.
who was driving the escort NO 1
shame there was no Lancia there, great vid, gonna check out where they are next
Not to my knowledge. The next time these cars will be out is at Race Retro, Stoneleigh near Coventry, 23-24 Feb.
Tom Hammond's S1 does look like the original Pikes Peak car. I hate calling it a replica though, because it is one of the original 20 S1e2 cars built (chassis RE08 I think). It was also advertised for sale a few years back and was quoted at 750hp. Did you ever get the chance to drive it?
Is there any events like. This nearer scotland ??
Nope, never herad of him I'm afraid. I did once see a short wheel base Audi Quattro at Loton Park, although that was a Dialynx kit.
COSSIE
distinct lack of driving talent here :/
