Good selection of areas! ❤ I moved from Romford to Chelmsford a couple years ago. Chelmsford is the next closest city to London with great commuter links, theres a new station opening in 2025 for anyone looking to purchase a home in North Chelmsford
Aww that’s amazing!! I moved from romford too! Yeah it was definitely somewhere I wanted to move too but too pricy for me. Oh wow! It’s definitely up and coming. Thanks for sharing!
"You see at Liverpool Street outside Wetherspoons" 😂 i'm dying but so true of many Essex commuters! Stumbled across your video! Now as someone who grew up in Chelmsford do tell which areas you mean that are dodgy? 😂 No judgement and thank you for the video!-In a way its giving me the kick up the backside to get on with churning them out on my channel about London life! Keep up the good work! 🎉❤
great video ! yes West Ham is London - one stop from Stratford and it's dodgy as ! not a station to visit after dark lol Packing boxes as I speak - to move from Essex ( next to Lakeside ) up to Northamptonshire. It takes hubby well over an hour every day to drive down the A13 to work - :( even one little issue on the A13 can mess up the journey and it has taken 3 hours to get home - So we are off :) it will be just one hour by train from Northants for him.
Oh wow!! Good luck with your move! 😍 I can imagine, the traffic is a nightmare and so unpredictable. The train is always the best shout. Wishing you luck for your move to Northamptonshire!
Essex has some areas that are must live in. Rayleigh,Thorpe bay, Benfleet, Hockley, eastwood, romford, rochford, Leigh on sea, chalkwell, they all have nice houses. Essex is cheaper than London. Central London is very expensive.
@@GraceAnastasia No, not technically, officially. That's conjecture, you dunno how most people see it. If it's in a London Borough then it's London and can't be in Essex.
@@DataDon-rl1mb Sure, but if i was to tell everyone my last flat was bought in London then i said romford i guarantee most people would say thats not London. Not sure why you are getting fanatical, i didnt even recommend romford as a place to live. chill
Love the video! I’m just at the start of my buying journey. Not sure how affordable Essex will be soon! Some areas house prices are getting really expensive 😢
I heard Billericay was quite racist my mum went there for work years ago and heard a lot of stories of people of people being very outwardly racist. My gym instructor lived in Wickford it was good value for money and loved the drive into London before he moved up north.
No racism in billericay. Just a normal middle class town. I live in wickford been there 7 years and go to billericay all the time, never had any issues. Im originally from Upton Park/ Plaistow
@@rickynewland1078 I’m the same age as Grace and during secondary school I wasn’t allowed to go to Romford. Many of my friends Black and Asian told me they didn’t feel welcome and that people were staring at them. Romford is now even more multicultural, and Grace loved living there. I am sharing what I have been told about Billericay some years ago. This is a platform for people to share their views etc as everyone’s experiences are different.
@GraceAnastasia true in my case I'm a teacher so you always get paid more working in inner London schools, I worked at royal liberty school in 2008 at Gidea park
These places you’re mentioning are not places I advised people to go and live I only mentioned them at the end. And people do see these places as Essex. It’s Greater London on the cusp of Essex
@@GraceAnastasia Some people see the earth as flat... Greater London is a county in the Region of London, whereas Essex is a county in the East Of England Region. They are totally different and separate areas.
Omg. Thanks soo much for this Grace and you look beautiful as always 🥰🙏🏽✨
Aww thank you hun ❤️

Hi Grace, what do you think of Colchester?
That’s another nice town, it’s a bit further away, so depends on how far out you want to go. It’s considered a city now like Chelmsford too
Essex has some areas that are must live in. Rayleigh,Thorpe bay, Benfleet, Hockley, eastwood, romford, rochford, Leigh on sea, chalkwell, they all have nice houses. Essex is cheaper than London. Central London is very expensive.
Romford is not in Essex.
Romford ain't like London, Romford is London.
Technically, but most people see it as Essex. I know it’s a London borough of havering

Time to grow a backbone and say things as they are. Romford is in London.

You will find the right area for you hun, if it’s in the next few years you’ll be fine. It’s great you have started saving ❤️
Grays? Chafford hundred?

Really, oh wow to be honest I can see how that is possible. It’s not very integrated. It’s like the old London

Girl! Whats the bad area? 😂
What is your 2nd channel again?
If you go on my community tab I have posted it on there 🥰 it’s called Life with Grace
I taught in Essex pay not great
Depends what job it is. There’s more job opportunities in London but I wouldn’t say you get paid less here.. its not too far away
