Can you please include Council tax, and utilities bills and this will put your costs up to £2000 p/m. An average salary of £25000. Tax free allowance is £12500. Mean you do not pay income Tax on the rest you have to pay 20 per cent tax and 12 per cent NI. Therefore think again.

Your exact location in Holborn would matter to find the nearest underground line. It has a couple of lines passing through or near .

It's a pretty good place. Lots of options to rent and not too expensive. A train ride is 30-45 mins to Paddington.
