- On today’s episode of The Coleman Garage, I installed a $1,300 “bolt on" Lamborghini style door kit on my Mk4 VW GLI.

Our GLI’s come with the better 1.8t engine (code: AWP) and has the most available bolt-on mods. Start by adding a turbo inlet pipe, muffler/resonator delete, and a new Diverter valve and you’ll love it! However, that automatic transmission in the Mk4 is the weak point and will restrict you from making any real power.

However, the finish on the fenders were mm not very good , why chop the fenders up that aspect has put me off the idea

Tarek Taher The kit is made by a company called LSD. Lambo Style Doors. Retails around $1,300. I paid $200 bucks for mine, brand new in box. It sat in somebody’s garage for 10 years!

So-called tuning: The art of spending a lot of money to create something completely useless.
How exactly is a car useless?
@@thecolemangarage For example, you can lay a car so low that it can hardly be driven. Or you can block the trunk with speakers so that it can no longer be used. Or you put a truck so high that you can hardly get on it and if you manage to do it, this is rewarded with terrible driving behavior. Or you build in doors that actually have no additional use compared to the existing ones.
But at least this is how sales are generated and jobs are created.
I have never seen anybody hacking away on their car in such an unprofessional manner like this. Slamming a painted door on the concrete floor, putting the gauge cluster onto the delicate dashboard surface, ramming the door several times against the body ... yuck. And after all that he even dares to talk about gaps mahhahha

It was a Limited 400 piece edition from the year 2000 with Xenon a special leather interior skylight and a 6 speed gearbox.
I love this car it’s cheap to drive because of dtge tdi and the upgrade, has round about 230hp with nearly 500nm on torque! 🤫
