Great ep. Loved the stories, especially the one about Nick "muppeting" to the bathroom. Could have used a skosh more stories involving mama Scarpino. Just picturing Nick being pushed to the brink from "the last word" was perfect.

I agree it seems like he really is about this early retirement it just sucks people pay for him to be there and he's basically flying all over Cali on the tab of the "best friends". I love Matt but it's kind of lame the amount of stuff that got cut out. I mean what is really that bad it needs to be cut out. That just takes away from the show and leaves the viewer wondering, plus it kind of separates the audience which I know you guys don't want to do

Seems like a nice enough guy, but if he drank and drove that many times, he should have his license permanently revoked.
+theworldispein nagato Hey man, Mart's not on a ';high horse' at all... This stuff, although they make it clear that it's not okay and were mistakes, are still being discussed with laughter and what sounds like almost fond memories. He's not actually suggesting they track him down and take the license, he's suggesting that he's irresponsible and in good conscience probably shouldn't be allowed on the road, at least back then.
How long ago do we think this was, maybe 10/15/20 years ago? It was not a different time when it comes to this. No, we didn't have on-demand mobile rideshare services like Uber or Lyft, but taxis, designated drivers and personal responsibility were still very much things. Saying it was a different time is a little bit of insanity to me.
A little over 15 years ago my father and I were hit by a drunk driver in the middle of the day and he lost his vision and one of his legs, luckily not his life, but it was close for a long time. To claim that drunk driving is just a 'mistake' is not taking ownership of the immensely stupid and selfish act. Driving drunk and crashing your car or injuring yourself is one thing, your brought it on yourself, but too many drunk driving accidents involve innocent people and families to just brush this off and laugh about it.
I have been a huge kinda funny fan since the day greg launched the gameovergreggy channel years ago, but I'm disappointed in that portion of this episode. I understand that people make mistakes, but I wish they would have taken this a bit more seriously.
Am i the only one who get the impression that nick is mad at his brother.
