This was a really good GOG show probably one of my favorites. Especially Colin's topic. It really opened my eyes to some of the issues that are going on in the states right now, it is quite sad. Being Canadian and not knowing much about US politics, I really hope that everything works out for you Americans. That is all..
Colin, what you were saying about the treatment of Trump supporters and the way both of the coasts treat those in the middle of country reminded me of Brexit. People were often regarded as xenophobic just for aligning with a side that wanted out, regardless of their reasons for voting that way. After the election it was just as bad with people taking to the streets demanding foreigners, and even British citizens, go home. If Trump wins I hope it's not like that in your country. When you were reading those quotes and discussed the divide between the coasts and the mid-country I felt moved but also guilty; guilty for all of the times I have regarded those in rural areas as, essentially, lesser beings. Your election has had an unusual influence on myself and I'm sure a lot of people living across the pond.
www.cracked.com/blog/6-reasons-trumps-rise-that-no-one-talks-about/ Here's the article for you guys. I think Colin does an excellent job boiling it down to the most salient points, but in case you'd like to view the source material.
I'm really proud of you guys on the politics topic! You cover all angles and show respect for everyone's opinion. That's the only way a democracy can function, for everyone!
Man, I'm just as scared about this election as the next person. But, Colin and Greg brought up a lot of great points. Especially with the reality no one wants to deal with in the rust belt states. But, Tim, come on man. Even if you like Clinton more than Trump, you have to be able to see both sides and see why people are interested. What you're doing is the exact same thing that you don't like about the other side. If you can't at least try to understand the other vote, you'll just end up repeating the process of yelling at everyone; trying to force them into your line of thinking. That's the last thing we need. We let these dirt bag people running for a paycheck carry too much weight with our relationships in society. We need understanding and togetherness. Neither one of these candidates cares about that. There is no "lesser of two evils." And, in all honesty, your attitude on the political topics shows that you just want to be right. Which is almost the exact platform of the man you swear you hate. Open your mind's eye Tim... Or you'll just lose your mind in the process. But, I digress. Everyone vote for who you want to or don't vote if you are uncomfortable with the choices. That is your freedom and your right. Under any circumstances. Everyone be safe and be nice to people. Much Love, as always. KINDA!!!...
Colin, have you been on the internet? Just because you're more level headed doesn't mean that every conservative is. Trump supporters absolutely are vitriolic, the alt-right is becoming popularized through his campaign, and even if he didn't intend that it is being co-opted. I thank you that even though your views are very much not the same as those that I hold, the fact that you can speak without the vitriol and the level-headedness and introspection that you show is admirable.
I've already said my piece on Colin's topic when that part of the show released on RUclips so I won't repeat myself here. But I will say this. Nick Scarpino = Wolverine/Logan Matt Scarpino= Old Man Logan more to the point, Matt Scarpino= Smelly, hairy, sweaty, stinky Old Man Logan.
Colin that was excellent. Glad you said this, I disagree with you on gay marriage, some of your more liberal stances etc but I'm so glad you had the balls to say what you did. Also hope you/we can see a more traditional yet modern truthful Republican next time. 👍
This is one of the best episodes ever. Matt Scarpino keeps wiping his sweat and grease off his face with his hand, then he touches and or shakes Colin's hand or Colin himself with said hand. hahahahaha
I generally dont agree with colin. But growing up in a small town in Kansas, he gets what the issue is. I personally dont agree with trump or his views, but the people around me are very disenfranchised and worn down by the politics that only seem to fuck small communities over. It is hard going back home and seeing it as a very much dying community. It only furthers the polarization of the country by labeling every Trump supporter are nazi’s and horrible people. I know plenty of people that are, but most people are just tired.
I'm not sure what pundits Colin was watching but none I listened to said Trump won. A lot said he did better. I think Colin hears what he wants to hear or what supports his ideas already.
It's funny that as a progressive I'm suppose to show sympathy for every single Trump supporter that attacks me personally for my views. I have lived in the South my entire life, i see the thing that Colin is taking about and he has some good points but he misses the mark entirely. Every Trump supporters i know are racist, homophobic, and misogynistic. I deal with these people on a daily basis, i live in a state that will go to Trump. They don't attack myself or the "dirty liberal" on point of politics, they attack them as people. To be fair, Colin is right about the coastal elites and about a lot of those on the opposite side, they look down upon us poor whites, especially those who live in the more rural areas. Now i am proudly a registered independent. I feel neither party is right on most topics and feel like the top priority for this nation to to break the two-party system. I would love to sit down and talk to Colin about Sander. His vitriol, especially given his passionate talk here is incredibly confusing. I would love to know exactly why he so hates Sanders and his ideals. Not as part of a show or anything, just two people talking. While i plan on voting for Clinton, it is more a vote against Trump than a vote for Clinton, i'm still a little salty about the way she and the DNC treated Sanders.
Tim's face at 28:30 is all you need to know about him and how he views people that don't share his specific world view . The notion of possibly feeling empathy toward someone that disagrees with him just makes him shake his head and laugh. I can't think of a better example of someone that was molded entirely by the closed minded echo chamber that they were raised in. And this is on top of him in a previous video saying he has no idea why anyone would think they need to own a gun. Easy to say when you haven't had your fucking fancy house broken into while your family was sleeping. I legitimately don't understand how he cannot even begin to see anything outside of his own experiences. Not everyone is Tim fucking Gettys and he doesn't understand that.
Colin ruined the return of Matt with his bullshit soapbox. I was just starting to miss him on this show and now I remember why I started hating him on KF.
Props to Colin. Serious respect.
Miss Colin on Kinda Funny. His new stuff at LSM is great though!
+1 for Colin
Man, that first topic was incredibly touching and poignant. This is one of the reasons why KF is so great. Love these guys!
Colin's perspective in topic 1 is so great. Very unbiased and logical. Tim was a little too biased, but to each his own.
Wut. Non-biased? You're kidding right?

Jeffery Li I love the subtle patronizing by foreigners. We Americans do not need it nor do we want it.
chill.
#ColinWasWrong 11:30
Beautiful response by Greg.
1:06:00...I love Tim but you have to see both sides without getting overly upset...
Props to Colin, while I don't support Trump he raises a great point. Great counterpoint by Greg as well
the paper in the bottom left behind Tim. I can't even!!!

Great topic Colin. Fantastic show from all of you guys! Well done.

I love how the article has to try soooooooo hard to try and make Trump supporters likable lol. It's so god damn funny.
You know the topic's taking its toll on Tim when Nick says "beyond me" and Tim doesn't turn and make eyes at the camera.
Greg fucking murdered with the comment from 33:48 . Man, you blew me away
You guys are so awesome.
holly shit can we get a colin moriarty political podcast.
I'd love it if you guys would have a weekly discussion/review of westworld
I'm really proud of you guys on the politics topic! You cover all angles and show respect for everyone's opinion. That's the only way a democracy can function, for everyone!
Collins topic was great, he inspires me to want to know more!

People like you are the problem, he can think whatever he likes and he has the right to do so without listening to people like you.
I love this other Scarpino. He's a good Scarpino.
The level of acceptance a lot of people have for Clinton is terrifying.
Politics is the most sensitive subject next to religion. Colin is able to handle it with ease and is perhaps one of the most relatable next to Greg.
Colin Moriarty 2016!!!! The People's Write In Candidate.

The 1994 McLaren F1 is just the car for you, Colin!

Colin was right with his points, still love tim. Much love
Greg brought it.
Daemon was on two episodes Greg lol

Andrew Parsons what about Trudeau
I voted for Trudeau and I wish I could take it back. He's done nothing but waste money since he's been in parliament
Colin that was excellent.
Glad you said this, I disagree with you on gay marriage, some of your more liberal stances etc but I'm so glad you had the balls to say what you did. Also hope you/we can see a more traditional yet modern truthful Republican next time. 👍
Colin for president
This is one of the best episodes ever. Matt Scarpino keeps wiping his sweat and grease off his face with his hand, then he touches and or shakes Colin's hand or Colin himself with said hand. hahahahaha
TIM listen to Run The Jewels in your car, it will rattle every nut and bolt loose

He's a douchebag. Has been since IGN. I'm only here for Greg.
Apparently looking down upon people who reciprocate trump and his love for grouping women is a crime
i think your overreacting
he is 100% biased
who hurt you
I love Tim, but I hate it when he tries to go against Colin on politics...
misinformed people are annoying.
American's had their wake up call candidate and they failed him.
who?
Wow lost a lot of respect for Tim...
Why?
Jonathan Glover cuz he's being a cock
Tim is the only one of the group I dislike
Your face I love all of them! I was just saying in this instance he was being a little silly basically.
I'm glad colin is gone, he was a pious self righteous prick
Trump is not a racist holy shit
No hes classist
Nicks sleeves would be acceptable if he had a body for it but he's just doing it to make fun of it and that's not cool.
Michael BigBotz where did you get the impression he's making fun of anything?
Michael BigBotz yeah I'm not getting that impression at all. The only impression I got was that he's looking fly as fuck.
I love you Tim, but maybe you should sit the political topics out man
Colin ruined the return of Matt with his bullshit soapbox. I was just starting to miss him on this show and now I remember why I started hating him on KF.
