What he said about only getting all the loot on story mode: There is a special setting called „Easy Loot“ which is a custom-difficulty setting. You can therefore do it on Easy, Normal, Hard and Very Hard difficulty.
Hmm good to know. Its wierd bcz initially I tried this on higher difficulty but I never got the legendary resources. Maybe my setting was off then. Either way I would still do it on easy mode since you want to be as effecient as possible. Thanks for watching.
i have another way of farming that thi time farms metal shards rather than actual gear at an insane rate: firstly, go to the site a the very northern edge of the map. It's a double spawn. Secondly, turn the difficulty to story or custom with easy loot on. Now, kill the tremortusks (my advice is freeze them with sun scourge and then spam with carja's bane, preferably with critical and impact based coils). 1 tremortusk kill is worth somewhere around 1115 shards (890 for the tusks, and then if you take into account large machine cores etc the profit becmes massive). It usually takes me around 20 seconds to kill 1 tremortusk, and lets say it takes you 40 seconds to fly away and back (usually the distance needed is 130-150 feet). You'll be making 1673 shards per minute, or around 100k per hour. This fam is really insane and requires next to no effort, i highly recommend it
Thanks for sharing. Method looks good but the reason I prefer different machines over just the tremortusk is for the components so one can upgrade their gear asap. But if we are only talking about shards, your method is dope 👍
@@GamingEvangelist yeah ik what you mean. also worth knowing is that once fully upgraded, on brittle machines, ancestor's return can do up to 500-600 per tick and can hit multiple spots at once (this depends on the placement of the shredder
@@demonfallpg3dvincenzi128 I've looked at the map and that site now appears off the map in a black section. The machines also don't spawn anymore do you know anything about that?
This method seems pretty effective, thanks for sharing! I should probably take another look at the Shredder Gauntlet since I don’t use it as effectively as demonstrated here. For just shard farming, I’ve been using the infinite Rebel spawn site located just NE from Plainsong, near the Grazer site. You don’t get the coils or Legendary items from it, but plenty of shards with minimal effort. Maybe 5-6 Rebels, including a Rebel Conqueror, plus several Utaru they’re fighting will also drop shards when killed. Just stealth as many as you can quickly and then melee the rest to not use up ammo. I’ll also take out the Grazers with stealth since they’re so close, then fast travel elsewhere and come back to repeat the process. Can also override a Clawstrider nearby and have it do the killing, your choice. I’m not sure how efficient this is compared to the method in this video, but you said share methods, so I did, lol. The individual drops aren’t very much, but collectively they add up. Perhaps it’s a method suited for those who don’t yet have decent weapons to go after the larger machines. I believe there are a couple of locations on the map that always spawn rebels regardless if you have the Camps/Outposts cleared or not. I’ve cleared all Camps/Outposts and this location still spawns Rebels infinitely, you just have to leave the area for them to respawn after you’ve killed them. I’m not sure if you need to travel a certain distance to trigger the respawn or if it’s time-based, I just know I couldn’t trigger respawn by just going to Plainsong and back. tl;dr version: Thanks again for sharing, I kill Rebels for shards, keep up the good work!
Thanks for sharing. Yeah there may be alot of more methods and ways. Reason i did this one is because in addition to shards, you get a chance to get purple coils and resources such as volatile sludge and upgrading components for weapons.
ruclips.net/video/_VUJGQ-ZHoI/видео.html :) this is one of the most effective farms in the game i hope it helps (i left a comment abt it if you want additional info)
bro can someone please tell me ways to get proccesed metal blocks? my scrapper piles never reset I've tried skipping so much time to no avail I'm worried I'll never get any more proccesed metal blocks
I honestly can’t believe I didn’t think of this. If you play it right, you don’t need to spend any resources if your goal is to just inflict damage. This works just in general combat even on higher difficulties. Especially for hundred percenters who want to save themselves shards and grab all gear and upgrades.
Yep true. Plus Shredder gauntlets are pretty fun to use especially when targeting different components so one doesn't even get bored of this. Thanks for watching.
Finally!!, someone found out my strategy I found out about this on my own and got everything upgraded in one hour just like you said Yes it is true people
Haha Caught you. Just kidding. I knew a while back. Just didnt had time to make a video on it. Yes this method is pretty effective. And one can always turn the difficulty back up for exploring and story once farming is complete. Good work bro.
No problems bro Just wondering do you think you could do a video on the best mid to late game weapons, armour etc There isn't really a good video on it and I am sure it would be well appreciated by the community 🙂

You say with any gauntlet type. But does the skillz in the skill trees matter should skill point be point into certain skills in the trees or does that matter?
The thing I was wanting from this was tips on farming Purple coils but there's really no info here. Upgrading is common sense & didn't need a video on it.
Brother the coils are extremely random drops from machines. While I was doing this in game to upgrade my weapons, machines randomly dropped those purple coils. So in a way, this is farming as well. If you are lucky you will get the coils. Just do this method on all heavyweaight and apex machines. If you saw my coils video, most of those coils I had were through this method while I was gathering parts and making shards.
wait so with easy loot on even components that would normally be destroyed because you didn't break off the parts are now not destroyed because you have easy loot on??
All impact damage coils. if you dont have them simply go to the Maw of the arena vendor and purchase all blue ones. I ahve mentioned in the start of the video. Thanks.
25% long range damage coils are more effective than impact. Not quite sure I'm understanding this video...just turn the difficulty down and put it on easy loot. 😂
Only thing is, I need to be 95% done with the game to get that weapon… I don’t like playing NG+ runs and I leave story for last. So for me i wonder if theres a very rare shredder counterpart that does decent enough damage 🤔
It appears that you guys are having fun in a single player game... lets fix that. *Replaces Thunderjaws, Tremortusks, Shellsnappers, Frostclaws, Fireclaws, Tiderippers Slaughterspines and Slitherfangs with watchers and Stormbirds and Dreadwings with glinthawks on story mode, and easy mode*

So many things in this video are just incorrect. Exploding a sack on a foe is NOT going to just destroy the valuable Yellow components unless you use impact or explosive ammo on those parts themselves. I explode sacs all the time & the yellow components are always still there. You can also have the difficulty set to whatever you want but also turn on Easy Loot to still have a challenge yet still be able to loot all the stuff you didn't destroy during battle. You still only want to target components you don't care about tho.
