When you were building the Challenger the music in the background was so nostalgic, I remember it from Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition Remix, such a good game and SO much customisation, you had like 10 (pretty sure there were more) different customisation options for each car. It was amazing
Theo buddy, I think you're forgetting the wraps that comes with some of these cars, the Challenger included. lol I dont know if you saw it yet but since there was no Charger R/T '69/'70 from Carbon, they used the Challenger for Angie's wrap. They seriously need to bring the cars that these wraps were originally on into the game, because other than the Mustang, M3 and Skyline, these wraps are not really fit on properly on the different cars. Maybe the Evo would be fine but still.

These time attacks are so freaking hard, I used a retro Sonny Golf for the first few ones. When I stopped winning, I just picked my favourite car, set a okay time, turn around and start murdering people.
I found it easiest to do Time Attacks with mid-range cars because the rubberbanding AI is programmed to beat your scores especially if you use a top ender like the murci.
time attack events are almost unfair. The key to succes is to make sure you don't set the record time to early for the AI to adjust it's speed. I have lost time attack events despite beating the records set by my friends.
The Original Toyota Celica tops my personal wishlist for dlc cars. Throw in an Escort MK1 for fast and furious giggles, Nissan 350z of course (still surprised it's not already there!) and finally the Toyota Soarer from about 92-96(?) and that pretty much does it. ;)
the rubber banding ai makes it so when you are in front they catch up to you. there for always getting a better time. to beat it, do your first lap slow. Then use all nos in the second lap and make that your best. For the rest go slow and they will go slow too.

ghost adds so many things to this game but they always forget the common sense stuff, like how you can't see the wing mirrors when they are near the hood of the car before buying them, or how you can't see the rear bumper of a body kit without buying it
Hey Theo have you tried setting steering speed and angle to max on drift side and downforce to max on grip side at the same time? It gave me fast twitch steering
I really hate that first race you did. Multiple reasons: It's a time attack, it has that tiny off road section that kills anything low, and then there's hillanddale, who always cruises around there an always manages to get in the way.
We also need the 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI, because it's better than the modern version in my opinion. Also the Chevy camaro 1969 or something and maybe the audis you mentioned and a DeLorean for the banter?
i had trouble with this too so i cheesed it by finishing one lap and then slowing down and just hitting the other racers to keep them from getting a good time because the AI's first lap is always shit
A thing about this race is that a few people on the subreddit were complaining about it and one person compared it to the pre-patch Component Parts (which wasn't that difficult in the first place, it just didn't forgive mistakes) Am I the only one who thought this event was pretty easy? Also that O.G. outro, s/o to MadLoops
I beat it with a maxed 860 hp NSX first try. All the time attack races are quite fickle though. The key is to not set a very good lap time early on, or else the AI will compensate more to make the race exciting. So if the second lap is a perfect one the odds of losing are greater compared to a perfect lap once you are almost out of time. I have lost time attack races dispite beating my friends records by a couple of seconds.
My strong suit is Time Attacks so that's probably why I find them quite easy (the game in general was easy though) and that setting the good time at the end is actually a good strategy for people who aren't that good at Time Attacks, and time wise I have times that are virtually impossible for I'd honestly say a good 80-95% of the NFS community (29.23 on Peak Performance and 26.32 on Rapid Racers, I'm that guy with times on races a country mile ahead of people)
+Steelio It is easy. only took me two runs to beat it and that's because the random AI drivers driving around during the event ruined my first run. Not sure why people are having a hard time with it
this is the 2nd time you forgot the stance 😂 i think this car would suit a gaping wing if the gods at ghost would put them further back on the trunk and not where they are now
What I did on this event was that i went the first two laps very Slow so that the ai woud also go Slow then the last Lap i woud go very fast so that the ai wouldnt catch up

It took me ages to beat that Challenge. Had to pump up the Porshe to max to get it done. Took over 30 tries. That's what I call challenging
The time attack events are so annoying with the rubber banding. Someone always gets you by two seconds on the last lap!
Just a tip: Always do the super/turbocharger last, as which one is the best is directly reliant on the car and current upgrades.

The last turbo on the upgrades its not always the best. There are some that give you better 0-60 and 1/4 mile with no loss to top speed.

tip for winning time trials do the first lap really slow and do one quick lap at the very end it makes the AI's times slower

I think they should add a offroading area to the map. They need to add pickups ,jeeps, and many other 4 by 4 cars.

Baby Steps did take me a few tries. I would really like more garage spaces. Building a nice car and then selling with loss of money is getting old.
Dont wanna talk about it but i finished the race with my bmw m3 e46 which had about 650HP. Oh btw. i did the entire Eddie's Challenge with this char.
