A good way to relax during a round is when you're waiting for your turn stop moving and look around at the trees, clouds, landscape, it puts the importance of your game in perspective after all in the scheme of things you live on a great planet and you get to enjoy golfing on it, you don't have to win every round.

I can't believe this video only has 18 comments and 30th views after 2 years. Yet if you look at any other game improvement swing tips or club or ball reviews, views are in the millions. Mental toughness/ mental agility is no doubt about it the most underrated and under trained aspect in golf. Upgrading to 2 thousand dollar clubs and obsurdly expensive golf balls will most probably not contribute to success. Even worse, it won't help AND it will have cost you thousands of dollars. Training your brain is free and is guaranteed to lower your score, even with your grandpa's clubs. If it's not lowering your score than you are doing it wrong . EXCELLENT video. THANK YOU.

I fully agree with your comment, Michael! Bob Rotella is a sports psychologist who works with the world's best golfers, yet very few club golfers have ever heard of him. But EVERY golfer knows which pro plays with Titleist balls, who carries Taylormade drivers and which pro wears Adidas shoes... In a recent interview, Bubba Watson was asked, if he could get it, which aspect of Tiger Woods' game he would choose to have. His answer, without a moment's hesitation? "Tiger's mind, PLEASE!", Bubba said. That tells me everything. Bob Rotella's books have been the best golf lessons I have ever experienced.

Why do people that leave long comments, seem like they need validation...

Yes, the mental aspect of golf is very important..... these kids could get more out of this talk if they sat in the shade on chairs instead of in bright sun on a very hard surface.

A lot of toxicity in this message I feel sort for these kids…the evidence shows we have very little control over what we think and what we feel. Attentional flexibility is what we should be practicing
