Not a critique at all, just some pronunciation trivia: In German the Z is pronounced like “ts” - like if you said “cats” without the “ca.” GERMAN w’s sound like English v’s. So Zugzwang for example is kind of like “Tsoog-svang” (or zwischenzug = tsvischen-tsoog).

Yeah that Tox guy had to be cheating. My guess is once he blundered the bishop he fired up the rice cooker. Like how come those final moves of the perpetual check took so long to find? You wouldn't even try a perpetual in the first place if you didn't see them.
Hi, @@mike_burkewell it goes back to a game from a while back, where Nelson was playing a cheater who tried to explain his suspicious delay snd timing in moves, because "he was cooking rice in a rice cooker" at that time .
@@mike_burkeSee the Chess Vibes video from a year ago (Aug 2023) called "we need to talk about this" about an email sent by the friend of a suspected cheater, why Nelson had suspicions of cheating, and how he doesn't want his viewers to harass suspected cheaters, if you want the original context.
Hi Nelson, I really appreciate your videos and this whole channel. I was hoping you could help me with something that may be a good idea for a whole video on. I was playing some random opening moves one day, and in my post-game analysis I discovered that I stumbled upon a very particular setup that the Bosnian FM Vlado Narancic uses in basically all of his games as white or black. It's kind of a Caro-Kann/Saragossa + King's Indian mix. Here is the first 8 moves in a game he played in 2017 against Milan Miljkovic just to give you an example of the setup: 1.Nf3 Nf6 2.c3 b6 3.g3 Bb7 4.Bg2 g6 5.d3 Bg7 6.Nbd2 d6 7.O-O Nbd7 8.Qc2 O-O The characteristic moves that Narancic does in this setup is usually the combination of c3 and Qc2. These moves could happen as early as move 2 and 3, but they always tend to happen in the opening. After using Narancic's system in some of my own games, I found it to be pretty flexible, but I think it could use your NM touch to explain the logic behind it and some plans that might be used. THANKS!
Seems like a good try at 1:23:30 would have been Rf8, trying to lure him into capturing on f8, which would then lead you to a Puzzle Rush-style back rank mate by taking on a1, then f1, assuming he didn't resign immediately.
One of the players had the nick 'b1under_fest'. If you interpret the part 'fest' of 'blunderfest' in a German way this could either mean a festival of blunders or to be blunder proof (meaning that you win even if you blunder).
I find the title of the video so funny, it's like thousands of us have gathered just to watch a guy in "the thinker" pose when he really thinks about what he'll have for lunch 😂
Dude i fluctuate between 1800 and 2000s and my accuracy fluctuates all over the place. Have shocked myself with several 90s acxuracies. Ive thought they would think im cheating when reality is i work nights and sometimes im clear and sometimes im not

You have our permission to play a tournament WITHOUT explaining every move. Otherwise, don't bother joining tournaments where fast play is so important. :)
The player was banned. Also, no legitimate players plays with such consistent time usage and gets loads of wins in a row with high accuracy when they’ve also lost so many games. Stay delusional. 🙄
It is the same in Lichess. You have a lot more cheaters in the tournaments. I mean 900 and winning the tournament is ridiculous. You always ask yourself if you have ever seen that in real chess that a 900 rated wins a tournament when 2000+ are ending the same tournament 62nd. Lol
What people like you don't understand is how far you are from people who are world class at a thing. Someone with decades of experience and thousands of games played has a sense for when something is wrong. Nelson's game aside no one on the planet is playing a 64 move game with 97% accuracy at

That stalemate was beyond painful. I’m surprised you took it lightly.

That checkmate sequence by that blunderfest guy was absolutely brilliant. Wow.

Yea, like if you go there and make the first check, you can basically premove all the next ones, there is no reason for thinking.
Guys, I am fairly new to this game. What does it all mean with rice and rice cookers? Serious Q. Please excuse my noobishness.

Yes I agree, Nelson is brilliant!

It would be cool if you did some song parodies while you were playing. Still good videos though! You're pretty good at chest

Definitely one of the people that snuck into the course early :)
@18:45 bro was trying to pull of a GM Aman Hambelton but his opponent was out of time & Neslon's 2 other pawns didnt make a queen & anothr knight!

2:51:25 bro thinks he's aman hambleton lmaooooo 😭😭
Ben Finegold's been doing that since before Aman was born
i came here for the timestamp too
Yeah too bad it end up with stalemate
The tox guy has a lot of wins with 92+ accuracy with each move being 7-9 seconds apart each time. I went ahead and reported him.
Hey I was wondering if you could play the stonewall attack as white to see some ideas at the higher level?
May we see more of such long chess videos in the future? And even longer, we are addicted! Haha ^_^

The game against blunderfest I think you created your problems with premature pawn grabbing. Instead of Qxp just castle and your position is secure.
toxghtthegreat was a cheater. Closed for fair play.
How do I play with you Nelson
I extremely love watching gm igor videos cause knows he teaches a lot of openings and positional concepts
Great stream by the way
LMAO the stalemate "reset checkmate"
How do all those low rated players get top scores in the tournament? Does it still match by elo?
I love you sir , i am learning from you 😊

These tournaments are silly. For it to be a proper tournament everyone should play the same number of games.

Why so many adverts now I no they help pay for the channel but they so long and so many
How often are you seeing them?
I’m not sure exactly but a lot are now 20 seconds and then another 20 seconds I thought it’s not usually that long and not be able to skip 👍
