It would be great to get Reibe, our chances to grab a championship increase dramatically. He would have a great team around him and that would allow him to showcase his skills even more. We win championships and we get these guys drafted high. Hope he analyzes what program gets his skills showcased the best. Come to Uconn big guy!!!
It’s not just the $24 for peacock! It’s the fact that it limits our exposure nationally. People sitting at home, flipping through channels on TV, are not going to see the UConn game as an option, nor will casual fans pay for it! Exposure is key as UConn works to get into a better conference and insure our place in the future of high level D1 college athletics. This streaming BS along with the numerous 12 noon starts is awful, and unacceptable!! It’s a shame some people don’t recognize that and laugh it off, and honestly, it’s a bit embarrassing coming from someone representing UConn.
799 a month is what you would pay for Peacock so that’s $24 for those three games. I don’t know what else you’re complaining about from that front. I understand what you’re talking about from exposure but we don’t live in the days we’re streaming doesn’t exist now people have multiple streaming options that they use and Sports is going to streaming on an increasingly larger scale so I disagree that the casual fan wouldn’t flip through because those fans are older, and they either are going to pay for the service or not. The younger fans are going to seek out streaming services that have Sports.
I also push back on its embarrassing from someone that is representing UConn, let’s take one step at a time number one I don’t represent UConn, in no way shape or form, I do a show about them. And considering all the things that are going on in the sports world in the world in general, paying an extra amount of money for a team that just went back to back national championships shouldn’t be that high on your list. If you were paying attention, the reason why UConn athletic department is looking to leave. The big yeast is because of more exposure. So we can disagree on the mechanism, but don’t come at me with that. It’s embarrassing for me to have an opinion frankly I think that’s a little aggressive and unbecoming of having a conversation around something is silly and trivial as this
@@LockedOnUConn How about this analogy. Last year every game Iowa played was broadcasted on national TV. So the buzz was all about following her record. UConn is back-to-back and anyone following BB is looking to see how they measure up against the competition.. My point is the interest is there for this team more so this year than any other in the past. If this was Duke or KY don't you think they would be building up the match up every week? Which team will dethrone the team that beat everyone by double digits the last two years? I hope Dan uses this also for motivation about the lack of respect for UConn and its achievements. (BTW, I get the Clark thing was about boosting women's sports, college and pro.)

Agreed but this is the choice he faces, it comes down simply to what he is looking for. I hope he comes but if not, then he made his decision
