This is perfectly timed considering Im binging the rest of the novels right now. In the middle of Volume 12 so far. I also think these video ideas are cool for series that you previously reviewed but are now finally complete in English.
Reading KonoSuba was what allowed me to bridge the gap between the kind of Japanese you learn from textbooks and the actual language - I read 15(?) volumes mostly in JP during the hightime of the pandemic, and it kept me engaged all the way... so it definitely has a special place in my heart! The single greatest shortcoming, though, I think, is that the resolution just doesn't wrap up the character arcs... like, even slightly. Most blatant case of sequelbait I have ever seen, and when you're talking about such a huge, multi-volume story, that stings in an entirely different way. Not like the author doesn't know how to wrap up a plotline properly, either... I mean, he does it with every book. He just didn't want to do it for the series as a whole a the next higher level, for some reason.
I 100% agree . A number of the character relationships progressed up until about halfway through the series and then unfortunately seemed to just get stuck in stasis .
@@zetareticuli1027 I was officially N2, but I did do a lot of independent study on the side on top of taking a class up to that level. As with other languages 'school' Japanese is actually fairly unnatural and simplified, and there are a million important situational rules you never learn about until you try to read natural Japanese - and then even with very simple writing meant for children you'll be surprised how many questions you have.
Eyyy! Good to see you again, man! Thanks for this one. Was always curious how things panned out in Konosuba but only ever got to the possessed armor in the books. I do remember thinking the scene with Kazuma and Dust was the funniest thing in the series, though.
Im too hyped i NEED to watch this, thanks for explaining it^^ i couldnt find anything about that in the internet and i dont have the money to buy all mangas xD
thx for spoiling. i hope they animate the whole series, i will be 60 when the last season comes out, but it will be nice to watch in the retirement home

Read the damn LN. Or if you have no imagination, the manga is enough to carry you to vol. 12 then read the LN. But the manga also skips the most entertaining stuff which is Kazuma's monologue.
holy shit the amount of work this guy put it is insane
how can i only get recommend 2 years after

At what JLPT level were you on when you read the Japanese version of the light novel-N5, N4, N3, N2, or N1

I don't want to be spoiled so I'll come back to this eventually, just want to show my support for your channel
I feel exactly the same.
This Chanel is so underrated. Thank you man.
Aight imma watch this once the final episode goes live.
I want to see how much they changed.
i'll be back here in 2067 when it comes out, see ya'll then
Can’t believe this isn’t a more popular video. Only 11k views and less than 500 likes 😢. Definitely earned a sub from me.

Would you consider giving us the Dust (and/or any other) spinoffs?

Nice hope we finish the show
Currently, there is 2 days left until it's 2024, the anime got announced to premiere in April, and hope to watch it. Thx for the disclaimer
Iris is OP as hell and have no qualm in using dirty tricks in a fight , in short she become a younger op female version of kazuma
Are there more of these kind of videos on your channel?
I would love to watch some!! 😁

Lol, I'm just going to assume you got Mitsurugi's (said Mitsu-giri not rugi) name wrong because everyone else does too.
is there another video like this that doesn't skip over heaps of stuff

@@Viewahh so much venom for someone asking a question.
Thanks man, good job
Fantastic video
Well done.
My gripe with the Konosuba would be the removal of Kazuma's corrupt little sister. She was very enjoyable as a character. (or a troll)
As someone who despises the Konosuba anime, i gotta say this video was very well done. I managed to be interested the whole time. 😊
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Could you do No Game No Life?
I definitely plan to but it won't be my next video.
I second this request.
Did kazuma go back to the parallel world with eris and with the others ? Or to another world
He went back to the parallel world.
season 3 soon
Where did you read the manga ?
You're better off reading the light novel since the manga is probably still adapting some volumes
@@11thkami just tell me where to read te manga and light navels
