I have always put horseradish in beef stew but have never tried it in mash, I'm going in full metal jacket with the mash too. Love your videos, you are both so so wholesome and friendly and I love that I can drop in anytime.
Awww Gawd....Braised Steak 😋. That takes me back to the late 60s. My Mum used to make Braised Steak and Onions in the oven. Watching this, l can remember the taste of that beautiful food. Does anyone else remember rhrir Mums or Nans talking about the 'Beef Tea' gravy? Never had gravy like it since: absolutely beautiful. Oh and thanks to my dear ol' Dad, I'm a massive fan of English Mustard and Horseradish Sauce. Be rude not to eat a Roast Beef Dinner without them 😋 (LOL...our pasta bowls turned out to be pasta serving bowls🐷 😂😂😂)
Yummy. I used to do braised steak a lot, also our Mom used to. It was a family staple when we were kids. I will definitely be trying the horseradish in the mash. It all looked so delicious. I felt all warm just looking at it. Thank you both for more tips and ideas.
I'm vegan but I still appreciate how soft the meat turned out. Just shows different ways of cooking produces different results. This looks stunning. The mash! My mouth was drooling watching the horseradish going in. What a great idea! And mustard powder in gravy! Hubba hubba drool drool. Just a shame I have to have liquid diet. I miss food, I was a huge foodie and I'd give my right arm to eat that yummy mash, veg and gravy. The bread! I'm so pleased you're making your own and enjoying it. I ordered some of that gravy mix from England, it took a long time to come and now we misplaced the container haha I have looked everywhere. I didn't even get a chance to use it.

I will be getting my Russel Hobbs slow cooker out Xmas morning for a 12 hour slow session (those were the days!) I love braising steak for its texture and taste but I will be going High and Wide with an un-smoked gammon joint this year. Its too early to say happy xmas but iv'e said it now

Hi sharon and martin i buy aldi cheap steak and cook it in the slowcooker withonions and oxos and maggi seasoning .the other day sunday we had minced beef onions potatoes cut little with carrots and leeks a couple of oxos i put jn slow cooker with a bit of waterand cooked it for t hours the potatoes fell it was such a lovely meal i even had 3 portions left so i put them infreezer my son had 4rounds of bread with his .ive got bowlslike hourwhite one ibohght themi bm for 2or 3 pound each love fran xxxxx❤❤❤❤❤

Looooove braised steak onion gravy and mash, that looks really delicious, but i don't like horseradish its late but i could eat that now, another good dinner Sharon and Martin.
When I cook a joint of beef in my slow cooker I add mustard to the gravy it cooks in and as I’ve mentioned before, a leg of lamb, I absolutely smother in mustard and let it cook slowly. I hope you try it one day.
Really struggle to cook a nice tender steak ,I’ve been wanting to try it in my Cosori pressure cooker anybody got a tip for doing it on the pressure cooker setting instead of the slow cooker function.
Looks delicious and you made it look so easy. Sharron could you put a slow cooker liner bag in there to save on washing up? I always use one in my very old slow cooker but am thinking of updating to this versatile model but would still like to be able to use the liner in there.
What a good recipe and what a good video I use shin of beef and I use the slow cooker for it but I use a beef extract cover the beef first in the extract and that is soaked overnight in a airtight container is Epic with mustard
