Nothing like having a back-up alarm back right up in front of your microphone array. 🤣😂 The birds were a nice touch though. The quality of your videos is amazing. Thank you John!

A flimsy comparison to the Heating Plant. Great to hear the birdies giving it full Spring chatter too. Thanks.

I have just finished watching part 8. I watched part 7 yesterday. Your videos are amazing and this one had me hooked from start to finish especially this episode. I love the way you give us a feel for all the work that goes on e.g. the segregating of all the material. The minions at work clearing the debris while the big one does the actual demolition; even a little skid steer bringing out and stacking the concrete flooring as well as the huge sheers cutting the steel beams into manageable lengths like gigantic bolt cutters.
However, some things are intriguing me: what was Mcleans? The outside looks like any 1970's office building but it seemed to be full of aluminium strips and pipes. I wasalso wondering whereabouts in the USA.

It was an ordinary office building in McLean, Virginia, in the western suburbs of Washington, DC. Very close to Tysons Corner, VA.
They stripped the internal walls and ceilings before starting work with the excavators. They left behind the metal studs from the walls in big piles on each floor.
