- Several financial scams have occurred in Bangladesh in the past decade. Among these, Hallmark Group and Basic Bank Loan Scam are worth mentioning. While the investigation and judicial proceedings were ongoing in court, another name came out during the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) investigation against 45 persons in the anti-casino operation in Bangladesh - Prashant Kumar Halder, popularly known as PK Halder. Although PK Halder's various financial scams came to the fore in early 2020, he was able to flee the country by the end of 2019. Bangladesh Anti-Corruption Commission, ACC is currently investigating the allegation of embezzlement of BDT 3,500 crore against him, although he is accused of stealing BDT 11 thousand crores. However, on January 8, 2020, the ACC filed a case against PK Halder for illegal acquisition and money laundering of around Tk 275 crore.
In today's video, we will tell you the story of PK Halder's transformation from a bank official to one of the country's most prominent financial scammers.

you have made an error in describing how NBFIs work. most large NBFIs in this country collect deposits. the money is stored in traditional banks. the loans are disbursed from nbfi's own accounts in different banks.

Brother I am a regular viewer of your videos. I am really shocked to see you have mentioned completely wrong information in the video. You said "NBFI cannot collect funds from any other source except banks". You have no idea it's a big wrong statement and people will surely get false information from this video!!! You should have minimum knowledge about NBFIs and how they operate. NBFI collects funds from individuals and institutions commonly through FDR, DPS. They can also collect funds from banks which is call money. NBFIs with good financial strength do not even require to manage funds from Banks in many years as they get enough funds from the market through their deposit products as I mentioned earlier. So please make corrections in the video. Any NBFI can take action against the wrong statement you have given in the video.
