ACL ig chungha influenced me. she brought up a great point on how the dancers are part of the art and not some decoration or “backup”. it’s disrespectful to say backup dancer when they are just are important to the performance as the main artist. we should recognize their hard work and their profession by calling them dancers plain and simple yknow?

I admire backup dancers, and I know some of them are teachers and great choreographers too. But, on videos like this, they're not the *main dancer* , the celebrity, and that's ok. By calling them "backup" we are just *defining* which type of work they're doing right here, but not defining the whole person. A simple example: if I work as a background artist on a videogame, I will be credited as "background artist". Am I just a background artist? No, I can draw many other things too, I'm a complete artist, but on that specific project I was working as a background artist.

something about taemin that truly intrigues me is the vibe in his dance that sets him apart. he moves more smoother, at a different pace as the other dancers. watching closely, you can see that he's not in sync with the others. it's beautiful how taemin moves, his dancing is incredibly unique

there's a certain effortlessness and confidence that he exudes when he's dancing that no one can copy. he looks so relaxed even though those movements are incredibly difficult to control...so relaxed to the point that I was surprised he was even breathing heavily after he finished.

@@Sunfl0w3r23-j5c Right?? I feel like they were really in sync with Taemin. It wasn't like I ever forgot that there were background dancers, unlike what I get from some other choreos. They weren't just accessories, but they actually made the choreography, the teamwork was awesome.
To be one of taemin’s backup dancers you must really love dancing cuz this man is a whole force of nature of an artist.
what i love about his dancing is that he is so talented that it doesn't even look like he's dancing. it just looks like his body is being moved by the music, like the music is coming from the way his body moves. his dancers are incredible too, but they look like they are trying to dance. there's a sense of effort you get from them, and taemin's dance feels so effortless, like it's his body's natural state. he's the best dancer i've ever seen.

Taemin is a phenomenal performer. He is mesmerizing to watch. The way he makes it look effortless is astonishing to me. His back up dancers are phenomenal performers. They killed it with him. I mean even just the part were they're walking in the choreo was badass. My only question is.....How are you gonna kill me with this dance then act all cute and innocent at the end of the video?
