Hey Mac, I also visited Darjeeling recently. It's a beautiful place. Also, The train stopped to fill in water since it's a steam engine and requires water in order to generate steam which creates pressure which moves the piston and ultimately the Train! They have multiple such spots to fill in the water throughout the train route.🙂

24:46 in 1947 India was divided and Pakistan was created. it was West Pakistan(current Pakistan) n East Pakistan(current Bangladesh). in 1971 when Bangladesh was under Pakistan there was a massive genocide in Bangladesh named operation searchlight as the Pakistan government began a military crackdown to suppress Bengali calls for self-determination. started as killing of all Hindus, after some time they were killing everyone. arms and ammunition were provided by USA. 3 million bangladeshis were killed and 400000 women were brutalized by Pak army in 9 months until India intervened. by then more than 10 million refugees Bangladeshi refugees came to India. India then one of the poorest country in the world started giving food and shelter to Bangladeshi refugees and military training to Bangladeshi freedom fighters. this angered USA and they ordered India to stay away. but then Pakistan attacked 11 of India's airfields. which gave them India opportunity to defend itself and start war against Pakistan to free Bangladesh. this is the first time in history a country was fighting for other country's freedom.
outraged by India’s reaction USA deployed their 75000 ton 7 fleet in the Bay of Bengal. it was the world's largest nuclear powered warship. on other side India had British ships in the Arabian Sea. so while Brit's about to target India's Western coast, Eastern India was in America's target. then Indian was not a nuclear Nation and US President Richard Nixon planned to nuke India according to American newspaper New York Times. then Soviet Union with its navy power came to rescue India and positioned itself between India and American warship in Bay of Bengal. This made Brits and Americans back out. India then went ahead, circled in Pakistan army in Bangladesh and made 93000 strong Pak army surrender in less than 2 weeks biggest military surrender since WW2. as a result Bangladesh became a free country.

Urdu developed more decisively during the Delhi Sultanate (1206--1526) and the Mughal Empire (1526--1858). Urdu written with Farsi(arabic) shrift and hindi .It is a descendant of the 3rd century BCE Brāhmī script, which evolved into the Nagari script which in turn gave birth to Devanāgarī and Nandināgarī. Hindi and Urdu languages have their origins in Khariboli spoken in areas around Delhi. In spoken Hindi and URDU has a little differences, although Urdu literature full of Farsi arabic words as well as Hindi. Like Pakistani anthem consists of 70% farsi and 30% urdu.
The lyrics which are in classical High-Urdu is written by the Pakistani Urdu-language poet Hafeez Jalandhari in 1952. Each word in the anthem was carefully picked to make sure it was a valid Perso-Arabic word (to avoid Hindostani words) and it cohered with the tune of the anthem. Most words of the anthem have commonality with the Persian language, hence rendering them mutually intelligible in both Urdu and Persian scripts. No verse in the three stanza lyrics is repeated. The lyrics have heavy Persian poetic vocabulary, and only use one exclusively native word, "kā
