- Had this one on the back burner for a long while. Only uploading it for the first clip where if no one had gotten off I think it could've been a full 1-6 kickdown.
Oh and it was going so well until a prius pulls in front of us and crawls.

Very fast indeed! Ended up holding at penge for about 5 minutes to regulate
This bus reminds me London and east Stagecoach citro
For anyone who doesn't know, these were torched upon export to Cyprus by a rival operator who wasn't happy they were awarded the contract. The operators who torched the buses operate ex-Metrobus London MAN MCV Evolutions.
And people call operators over here dodgy cowboys, that is one big yikes.
Never export another bus to Cyprus again

I love these buses :) I explored Blackwall Tunnel and the bus stop linked with Morden Wharf Garage (MG) for the first time on route 108; I got off at North Greenwich and returned to Stratford :)

I saw them last year after withdrawal in August time, and they were just sitting in Bromley Bus depot with no Stagecoach logo on them anymore. Look for my videos from Bromley Bus garage last year in August if you want to see

If you ever have withdrawal symptoms from this, come to Buckinghamshire and bash the 12 reg Arriva have! Most are at Wycombe, only 3 at Aylesbury and no other depot in the region has any. But if you do the tightly timed journeys on the 800/850 (which the Wycombe ones are supposed to be allocated to), you should be able to get loads of mad kickdown, maybe even full kickdowns better and faster than this! Well you certainly can if you get the Aylesbury ones on the X30, X60 and 280, and the Wycombe ones on the 1, X30, 800 and 850!

Cheers! I've been planning to do the ex red arrow citaros that carousel have. Believe those 12 reg arriva ones are ecolife examples instead of ecomats and personally, that doesnt sound quite right on a O530 but may end up bashing them too at some point
I’m not sure if any remain at Carousel Buses because I think they were due for transfer to Thames Travel sadly. You can catch between 3 and 6 of the MECs there (depending on how many moved over) and 2 at Oxford Bus Company. Of the 2 at Oxford, at least one should work the 250 to Bicester via Heyford, which goes well beyond Oxford City into rural country (it’s actually a former Thames Travel Route, I don’t know why they took over?)
As for Arriva’s 12 reg, don’t assume the ZFs are different - watch one of 3 videos I filmed of them at Wycombe to find out for sure:

Yeah Arriva’s Ecolife lot are alright but you can never beat a Ecomat

You never know, you might get another go at hearing a Citaro being floored. Hopefully spending my Sundays driving either Citaros or Enviros with the TopoDyn Super Power shift programme ;)
Might need to drop me some dates for that cause those are absolutely rides I wanna experience. I dont think I wont ever experience a citaro being floored again but rather it'll be really unlikely. I dont get much luck with the 108 and forget about the 203. the 227 was the route I could get consistant luck with drivers having their foot straight down at night.
I do have yet to experience a proper run out of a Super Power topodyn E400, I think croydon have a few but now that the 405s gone there isnt many good routes to get them on

No these didn't have topodyn. They had proper buttons under the pedal for kickdown
