Also, there are some things I want to clarify.
1) "Why film them if u know they're bad ppl?"
- Mind you, I didn't know. Every one of them started off as good people who turned bad after getting a little taste of "fame". These "changes" were not sudden and you only start seeing them after a couple of months or years. And before all the changes, I would've already filmed a handful of videos. When I see red flags, I cut them off immediately.
2) I will continue to make such videos because these videos are a huge part of my channel and I'm not going to let a couple of "bad experiences" stop me from doing the thing I've always been doing. Also, some people in my videos are amazing people as well.
3) "Why are u teaching girls to be careful and not guys to change?"
- Since when has it become my responsibility to teach a man how to be a man? I am not anyone's mother. It's good enough that I manage to teach this one. I am obligated to spread a good message for my female followers. I cannot change the way some guys are but I can ask you guys to be more careful.
4) "You asked for it anyways cause you're always touching them in videos"
- You completely missed the point of the video. The point is not the touching. I'm a naturally touchy person and I'm fine with touches. The point is, I DID NOT give consent. And when I do these things, I'm conscious and I do it with consent. That's the difference. I could be bare naked and it'd still be wrong for anyone to touch me without consent.
5) Unless stated otherwise on my IG, videos or I've just straight up said I love them as a human being, most of the people in my videos do not pass the vibe check.

I understand that filming "cute boys" might be entertaining and it's something many of your viewers might be interested in seeing, but I don't think it's good for you to give them a platform anymore, if you know that they are bad people. Not even because of the risk of them hurting someone - but just because people like them don't really deserve the "fame" that comes from being in your vids. I think it's something to consider next time you want to make a video like this.
I understand that but the videos will continue. These videos are a good 40%-50% of my branding as a vlog channel and I won't stop just cause a few of these boys are crap. Some people in these videos are good. The fame started because I made the decision in the past to link their socials because we were friends. That was my fault. Right now, I have implemented a standard scanning procedure (briefly mentioned at the end of the video). I will also no longer provide links or promote any of their social handles out of goodwill.

I actually adore this girl's honesty and her being straightforward. She just does not give the "fake sincerety" impression like the other youtubers do out there. This is why I keep watching her wheres I unfollow lots of people in social media after realizing how fake they are. Also she really gives me inspiration how to be more confident and gives me ideas about how to take action, I learn a lot from her. Growing up in japan, I know exactly what you’re talking about. It outrages me and frustrates me so much to constantly witness the patriarchy and male chauvinism in everyday society. I understand that this is a universally global issue but it’s just so blatantly explicit in Japan. It’s sickening. Also the way that Japanese woman are viewed as exotic and otherworldly by some foreigners and believe that they would fawn over them as they are interested in any ‘foreigner’ is disgusting. This still happens today.
What is wrong with foreigners finding Asian girls attractive? they look and act different to our own culture hence why we are attracted. Not all foreigners who are attracted to Asians believe they will "fawn" over us, please don't generalise.

I had a Japanese exchange student in 2013 and he raped me while I was sleeping. Almost identical to your story.
Nobody at my school (in Canada) believed me. They even DEFENDED him by saying “things are different over there”. Even some of the people who I thought were my friend defended him and continued to be friends with him.
I still love Japan, I have been studying Japanese for half of my life and I’ve been to Japan many times (both on an exchange and on vacation.) But the men need to be held accountable for their shit. I’ve had men trying to take pictures up my skirt, try to follow me home, trying to chat me up on the train when I was just trying to go home and getting closer and closer even though the train was EMPTY, and so much more.
And for anyone who is going to say something about “not all Japanese boys --“ save it. I know. I probably know better than any of you trying to say this. I have a lot of amazing male Japanese friends. But shit isn’t all anime and j-pop and kawaii like some of you think.

Whoever this dude is, he committed sexual harassment. The harassers are usually people you know and when you get harassed by that person, you go through a shock. Your mind just paralyzes. I have experienced a similar thing.
He was a friend who I trusted and I stayed over at his place because it was too late to take the train home. We both had something to drink, but I was really tipsy, he just had one drink and still he acted like he was drunk, drinking water all the time "so he wouldn't get a hangover". I thought it was weird, but didn't think much about it. Anyways, we had a talk about how I wouldn't want to get intimate with someone unless I really had feelings for him. He was very understanding and I felt safe. While going to bed he thought it was okay to touch me. I had to say "no" at least 3 times before he stopped. Next morning I fled the scene.
When I confronted him about it the next day, he said he thought I was playing hard to get and that he was drunk, which explains why he was being pretentious with the water bottle the night before. He already knew he was gonna use it as an excuse. When I told him I felt assaulted, he said I was exaggerating. I KEPT MY GROUND NONETHELESS. Eventually he said he was sorry and that he didn't mean it that way. Later I found out that he had done this to other girls too, but got away with it. I've never looked at him the same again.

It's so weird because I understand where she's coming from. I have a friend who I took care of, he was like a little brother to me, he used to be very quiet. After a while, I don't know happened but he ended up becoming an fboy, he would say disgusting things like sexual things about girls. He's now famous on social media and probably has a lot of fangirls but as a friend, I feel conflicted to be real with him and to tell him that it's not okay for him to act that way. T-T
Hey babe, I really think you should be honest with him about how you feel. Especially if you are that close. Hearing the truth from you might help him hold himself accountable for his actions. Be real with him about how you disagree with his actions and the way he treats women. Give him examples of where he’s gone wrong, explain why it’s wrong, and what he can do to change. If he is willing to change he’ll listen. Other than that there’s nothing you can do and it may be better for you to hold him at arms length. It may be hard to cut him off completely and it’s not always practical or realistic so I won’t advise you to do that, but letting him know where you stand in all this and keeping him at a distance may help. Hope this helped girl, and I really hope he changes. If you believe in God I would also recommend praying that God changes his heart and opens him up to advice ♥️🥰🥰
I agree with Amaka Aja, his actions might one day lead to a situation similar to what Euodias should NOT have had to experience. if you're scared to confront him alone, maybe do it with friend or write it all out on text. But I honestly think it's important that he knows that his actions are toxic and dangerous. If you're worried he won't listen to you send him articles, or stories from girls who have felt the direct impact of this kind of behaviour that can hopefully help him emphasise more. If you don't want to take a direct approach you could post things related to misogynistic behaviour where you know he'll see. But i do think that if you have the opportunity / find a time where you feel more comfortable to speak up directly - then take it because it's so important.

Like not only me but other people have confronted him for his actions, he does apologies but just like how Euodi mentioned about when the guy gave her a half-ass apology, my friend did the same thing and never really learned from his actions. I can't keep giving the excuse of "oh he's still pretty young" or "he's a really nice person to me" because yeah in front of me he is a mature and genuinely nice person but based one what I see in his social media, with his big ego, he seems like a toxic person. Which I am pretty disappointed about. I'll probably confront him again and just be that person who will still be there to be like "I told you so" or something I don't know.

As a person who is acquainted with a lot of Japanese people, especially Japanese boys and I had had various encounters with them irl, and some of those encounters were like really creepy and disgusting. With most of them, they found me "childish" because I'm constantly standing up for myself and for my friends. A lot of them used to think that I couldn't handle things and they overreacted all the time.
A lot of them have a very old mindset. My aunt had to argue with my uncle so much before they got married because she didn't want to stop working, and she wanted to distribute the chores equally.

So this is my experience: once I went to Japan with my dad he went for job I went for tourism but have to go to the university a whole week with him everyday. I met a very cool Japanese volunteer girl at the university and became friends (we talk to this day) but she presented to me all of her other volunteer friends. Since day one I noticed that one of them was more attentive with me I would say. Since I know Japanese I could talk with them and they always were with me on the U. Day 3 he became very friendly with me (in a good way) and I kinda liked him too tbh. But he was VERY passive aggressive like he would sit next to me all times, invite me to eat with him, giving me gifts and food and my native language is Spanish so he sometimes would say to me out of nowhere "eres linda" "te amo" "no puedo vivir sin ti" ("you are beautiful" "I love you" "I can't live without you") with help of Google traductor. I loved it it was so different from the shy Japanese boy stereotype. His boy friends also teased him with me and it was chill, with then but then the girls always were punching him and saying "stop it" and "you are so rude" but I didn't care. I was 17 and he was 22 and the last day I was at the university he invited me to his house to stay the night ok HE KNEW I WAS 17 and still, I didn't say yes obviously. That was outputting tbh. The week came to an end and we exchange line to chat because I will not return in a long time. Every student kept chatting with me except him and that was sad because I thought he cared about me but no, now I realized he acted like that because he wanted either sex, a foreign girlfriend (sometimes Japanese think foreign girls especially latinas are easy) or something like it. Also I know now that he didn't know I was going to leave Japan until the last day so yes he thought I was going to stay.
So yeah just to point out boys can be cute and friendly but they can also see you as an entertainment sometimes
