    On the diagram you show above the code (in the code files pdf) for this project, you have a diagram "typo". The vcc of the relay switch is plugged into the ground bank of the breadboard, instead of the 5v bank.
    THANK YOU!!!

    Hi Pierre, please do one where levels of water are tracked and start a pump when levels are low...
    Also, one to use LCD screen to show measurements

    Dag Boet from Thailand!! Thank you so much for your clear and consice videos. I will definitely be following your mini courses. As a 73 year young guy I find the world of Arduino fascinating althouh I'm an electronics illiterate!!
    IVAs systems have interested me for a long time and intend building a system down the track. I got 'kicked out' of the Sandponics group because I challenged the 'doos' who runs it for his regurgitated logic.
    I have decided to go down the hydroponics line for the moment.
    I'm wondering how the plants will go overnight with no water here in summer in a grow tower setup, as the average nightly temperature could be as high as 27 C.
    Thanks again and you and your family stay safe.

      Brian, you will have to experiment. The plants will also not receive nutrients during the no water period.

    Hey guys, I get many requests for videos on combined Arduino systems. Systems with different combinations of EC, pH, temperature, humidity, dissolved oxygen, light intensity, LCD screens, touch screens, Bluetooth, Wifi, timers, pump switching and many more. Although it is not difficult to do, it takes a different level of commitment form a viewer to go thru these type of videos. The amount of variations is also infinite. I do help individuals who want to learn more about Arduino to get to the point where they can put together the code and build almost anything that they want. Not only in aquaponics and hydroponics but also in other systems. Hi Pierre. Thanks for sharing your code. Can you please help me with this though. For some reason when I run this code, my circuit runs on reverse. Basically the relay turns on when I cover the LDR (Low LDR value) and when the LDR reading is high the relay is off. Also, I'm trying to change the time to turn on for 30 mins and off for 30 mins. I change the seconds to 1800 seconds but the relay turns off and on every 18 seconds! Please help

    I want to make a simple arduino controller system that simply turns my aeroponic sprayers on and off at an interval of seconds (ie. ten seconds off, five seconds on). Do i need to use another module like an RTC, or can I just use the arduino blink function and a relay? I’m oddly having a lot of trouble finding a tutorial one that doesn’t include a sensor like an LDR or humidity meter.

    • @doitwithpierre210
      @doitwithpierre210  2 года назад

      You don't need a RTC. If you want and reply I will help you with a tutorial within the next few days?

      @@doitwithpierre210 that would be awesome! Im sure it wouldn’t be too complicated. All i really want is an outdoor weatherproof box that can intermittently turn my submersible water pump on and off. I’d like it to be fitted with a standard US outlet so I can plug the pump directly into it. I used to play with arduinos but I have no clue how to properly power the water pump or what order to set things up in / if i’ll need any other components like resistors and whatnot.

    • @user-kh9ki3kq8m
      @user-kh9ki3kq8m 2 года назад +1

      @@doitwithpierre210 to clarify i’d like a box that can plug directly into a wall, that houses the timer system and controls the power to an outlet on the box that I can plug my pump into.
      I didn’t know if that requires running the required electricity for the pump through the arduino/relay and if it can handle that or what precautions to take to make sure I don’t electrocute myself messing around with electrical sockets.
