    what are the specs of the pump, does the watts affect anything if hooked up to an Arduino

      this is the one I used, yes def this cant run off arduino, they have 24/12v options

    Love this video! My son and I are trying to copy this setup but running into an issue where the relay isn't clicking. We've got everything setup exactly the same way. The relay blinks but no click. Any thoughts? Thanks!

      try a new relay, usually the quality isnt the best

    i was gonna get a mini water turbine to power the arduino. Would that need to be attached to the relay and would the pump need to be connected to the turbine with the relay?

      yeah, unfortunatly microcontrollers dont provide enough power to operate most water pumps so we have to just act as a switch, as for the turbine depends on how much power it can produce, I would make the arduino and pump run of a battery source and use the turbine to charge it up as it goes, since if for a split second the turbine isnt providing enough power everything will die and have to restart (if i understand your question correctly)

      @MikaelAbehsera thought about that and all the videos seemed overly complicated 😅 just a suggestion but u could do a vid on charging rechargeable batteries with arduino. But once again thanks 👊🏿

      @MikaelAbehsera a lot of the diagrams I found had a lot of other components I thought weren't needed or didn't give an actual explanation for the needed function of charging the battery while its being used by the arduino. I searched again and found a diagram. Is it as simple as using a battery charger component and a voltage booster

      as long as it provides the nessicary power it can be anything, yes!

    Can't find link to rocker switch reverse polarity video.
    So top row of 3 pins are not connected to 3 pins of the bottom row right?

      not a great idea, would damage the fan, put a filter
