Also when you study Mori's character in dept, he's not even a pedophile. 2) Kunikida was a college drop out, yet still became a math teacher 3) unlike what people usually believe, Fyodor doesn't have a god complx, instead he has a Saviour complex. Believing himself to be a servant sent by god to eradicate the sin that is ability users. 4) Chuuya was the main reason 15 Dazai wanted to live. Asagiri confirmed that Dazai and Chuuya were originally meant to be cannon, but he didn't go ahead with it to respect the real life authors. Instead making them heavily implied. 5) Chuuya and Verlaine have the same ability, Chuuya can activate corruption while Verlaine has brutalisation. Verlaine is tye fifth executive of the port mafia 6) Fyodor was the one who manipulated Shibusawa into going after Atsushi, telling him that Atsushi had the most highly coveted ability 7) Akutagawa has pleurisy. Apparently obtained by the freezing cold weather on tye streets and being left untreated for really long 8) Verlaine tried to kill everyone Chuuya loved, in order to get him to leave the mafia, including Dazai. But Dazai wasn't letting Chuuya to doubt his humanity on his watch, putting tye entire Yokohama at risk just ao Chuuya can figure out if he's human or not. 9) Asagiri said that he did not consider the people who don't understand the dept of his characters as his readers. Even though BSD looks like a goofy show at first, every character is painstakingly written according to the irl authors books. 10) Nikolai is one of the most complex characters in BSD. Dazai also being really complex despite only a small fraction of his backstory revealed. BSD has no villains. Every character is doing what they think is right in their perspective
Does everyone forget chapter 30, page 20 of that one volume? Or are there different translations? In the manga I read Dazai talks to Fukuzawa while making a pact with the PM (during the guild arc) and says that he had books of war beaten into him by “a certain somebody” and it instantly pans over to Mori.
