I'd take a trip to Chicago, just to visit CME.

I haven’t been to a music store since January, other than a quick cymbal p/up at GC 4 an xmas present 4 my son. I miss shopping, hanging out, listening to players etc. as much as I miss eating in a restaurant, which I haven’t done since January either.

I went a few years back when I was in Chicago. Great vibe. I will say I bought a new guitar from them online earlier this year and the setup/TLC/box extras were all top-notch. Highly recommended.

Wow. Geez, guys. I know 2020 really sucked the fun and enjoyment out of everything and I haven’t stopped by the shop since the cr@p hit the fan but there’s tons of bare floor and wall space. I understand moving the 1/2 dozen or so couches out of the shop but it looks too bare. I hope this crud ends and we get back to playing out again real soon AND we buy tons more gear at CME.
