The intentional imperfection in Serj's voice towards the end is VERY effective in communicating the feeling of the song. It's their best song from their first album in my opinion.

I would say its pretty uniqe one in all their discography. For me spiders are special. One of their first song ive heard and first i rly fall in love... Xd (and on this same album is crazy "sugar" Lol)
System of a Down has always been my favorite band of all time since their first album.
Even though there's a handful of metal bands I can enjoy, I'd not describe myself as a metalhead. But the music, feeling and messaging (so much symbolism and analogies going on in their lyrics) of this band are still effective and relevant to me.

I loved this song from the moment I heard it.. perhaps in 2001? It was played at my friend's funeral in 2008 and it's always hit me even more deeply since then. I believe the raw emotion comes from the pain they feel from the Armenian Genocide, which is something they spread awareness about. Great reaction, thank you.

this whole first self titled album was really them and their true sound, before they commercialized their success and changed their image. i believe this is what the Aerials video is about, the alien child represents this magnificent thing they make when they come together to play music, but then they sell it to hollywood and the creepy exec and eventually change their image and sound to cater to the photographer, and it rains money.. but the magnificent thing that was their true sound just needs to rest now after all the hype . sorry for the rant love your videos
