You can put 3 tools on the clip instead of one, Put the adapter on first and put the crevice tool on the adapter and on top of the crevice tool, put either one of the brushes on (the soft one or the stuff one)
I think I would love this Henry,I just don't like how it sounds like a Miele because it's not classical of a Henry, lol. Also, the same thing goes for the looks of the floor tool. Great design of course but the looks and sound isn't satisfying, but Henry, the actual rest of the vacuum is fab! I have had many many many good goes with my Auntie's 2012 Henry with Autosave (the one in my picture) and it's a lovely vacuum, it's an absolute joy to use.
Parwaz seveneightsix Officiial This is the best Henry I've used and performs better than the 1200 watt Hetty I tested. I have made the full demo video and overall I was impressed.
Awesome! I was considering looking for a brand new older Henry xtra or a normal one with airobrush because they actually had decent suction for the turbo brush so I am glad they made this model as it should be fantastic :)
Ooh, I kind of want one now :( I'm very happy with my Miele S8 and only use that on minimum or the next setting up (300 - 500w) and it lifts the carpet on the latter setting. My mum has my Henry (1200w twin speed non-auto save) and I only swopped for a Miele due to the lack of storage. VERY, very, tempted :) I've always said you don't need 1000's of watts for great suction.
every vacuum should be happy in youre home . yes faulty towers is anouther goo series from the past seen that epasode when he had to run home with the food and abandond his austin on the pavement
+ab30494 It is an EU regulation that limits the maximum wattage for vacuum cleaners. All countries in the European Union can't sell vacuums over 1600 watts, but this will drop to 900 watts in 2017.
The UK is still part of the EU even though we voted to leave. It will take up to two years until the UK has split from the EU and that process hasn't begun yet.
We are still part of the European Union we have even began the process of leaving and what will probably happen between now and then is they will probably hols another referendum because leave wasn't what they wanted... Watch this space..
Make Henry straight? Now that's a tad disappointing... :-) Love the socks! Come to think of it, all vacs should come with colour coordinated socks...as long as there is no revolving brush to injure your toes.... Indeed, the Numatic Airo turbo nozzle is excellent! An identical nozzle (in black instead of red) came packaged with our now deceased Hoover retro Constellation (Maytag Satellite in the UK) and I personally found it extremely effective. Does Henry sit nicely on the step of a starway?
Brian Torobin I have three Maytag Satellites, so I guess I could try the turbo nozzle on the Henry as I think they have the same diameter tools. I make sure I keep hands, feet, long hair and clothes away from the rotating agitator. Mother nature has made sure that I won't get my hair trapped in a vacuum, well unless I get too close and my chest hair hets sucked in. Henry is far too fat to sit on the average stair, but the hose reaches at least two thirds of the way.
Oops...meant to write "stairway" not "starway"....though the error is kind of poetic: "come sit on the step of a starway...." Haha....Mother Nature has hirsutically cursed and blessed me in the same way. :-) The video of little Cole is a must see for every vac enthusiast! Adorable!!!
PS the Dyson DC08 has that kind of hose where the diameter of the hose is bigger at the machine end than at the hose cuff/tool end, which probably explains why it has 40 AW more than the DC07 as well as the Root 12 cyclone technology on it vs Root 8 on the DC07, but I should probably hush because this is a Henry comments section! :P
Do you wanna see what's inside my box? Now, there's an invitation! :O)) Just got one of these myself and I totally love it. Never going back to bagless again..
ibaisaic Cheers, I'm loving mine. Thanks for your informative reviews. I was a bit concerned about going bag to "bagged," but it's great and my home has never felt so clean. Plus, I am able to plug it in, in one place and it stretches throughout the entire flat. My home has never "felt," so clean! :O)
+The Noobly Minecart // NooblyTNM Minecraft Mine came with 3 free bags and after 6 months, I'm *still* on the first bag! I don't think there's any danger of "running out," and there's *still* plenty of suction. Furthermore, I put replacement bags on my Amazon Xmas Wish List and someone very kindly bought me a pack of ten, so now I have 12 replacements..I may *never* need to buy one..and they're dirt cheap! :O)
I know thats the model i have. not the best but not the worst. trying to get mum to get a george so i can wash my bedroom carpets. and yes our carpets have never been shampooed
Please dont kill me for never doing that. we did have a carpet washer but my auntie borrowed it before we got the chance to use it and she has never returned it so we are just letting her keep it.
Fabulous instruction, commentary and 100 per cent lucidity. Many thanks. I am a d-i-y idiot and without your guidance, I'd have applied to live with a butler! mb
Great video, but I am torn. The finer vacuum shops in the U.S. now have both Henry and Miele. Which would be best for a home with mostly wood and laminate floors?
They would both do a good job on hard floors. The Henry has a larger capacity, longer cord and cheaper bags, but you may find the Miele more refined and convenient to use. Try them out in the vacuum stores to see which you prefer.
Thank You for your review, i have just purchased Hetty and can't wait for her to arrive. They aren't very popular in Australia it appears as they are hard to locate in retail stores.
Brent Wilson They are the best selling bagged cylinder on Amazon UK, so it's surprising that they are not popular in Australia. I expect they cost more over there.
ibaisaic Hi yes they are are slightly expensive i paid $410.00 for my machine off ebay. Some places have them for $500.00 australian dollars. maybe about 200 pound in your money.
Is this good enough for laminate flooring? I only have a couple of carpeted rooms so dont want to spend too much on a vacuum. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
Yes, this would be fine on laminate, but so would many vacuum cleaners. The Henry is a good reliable cleaner, but it is a bit on the heavy side and not the most convenient to use.
i'm looking to replace my old Henry as he's just too bulky to drag around every day, i've been watching your videos this morning trying to decide what to buy, but i think i've overloaded my brain! so i was hoping you could recommend a hoover for hard floors. p.s love your videos.
+Marie Babs I can't really recommend any bagless cylinders, but uprights that are good on hard floors include the Dyson DC40, Vax Air Cordless and Vax Air Reach. If you decide to go for a bagged machine, Miele and Sebo would be my brands of choice.
I'll take a look at your suggestions and hopefully find my next hoover, i did start by looking at Dyson's as i had one years ago and it was my favorite, i'm just a little unsure about the new ball technology, thanks again.
+Marie Babs I have had many Dysons and the DC40 is the best so far. They have a five year guarantee and the after sales service is usually pretty good.

In my opinion, this was the best design for Henry, Eco friendly with a great durable body and speed controls too.

Do you have to use bags or just don't put one it. What would happen without a bag?
It is not good to use it bagless because the dirt could get stuck in the cleaner and the dust would ruin the motor
