    The pods are a neat idea and I have always loved the simplicity of Numatic machines. The issue I have is the amount of plastic in these and a number of HEPA style "fleece" bags. The collar is plastic, the "fleece" is a form of micro-fibre plastic, this is a big issue to us and our environment. Numatic and the EuroVac companies (Lindhaus, Sebo and Miele) as well as other brands all have bags like this but the EuroVacs are a much bigger offender due to their bags and filters being not only expensive but small. This is where Numatic somewhat shines, and wet and dry vacuums fitted with HEPA filters and bags and the Rainbow shine.
    The option for a hose that you mention at the end is something I would like to implore all manufacturers of these handheld vacuums to make and a current carrying variant for sure. It would also be nice if the hose wasn't a stretch hose as I find those to be a pain in the backside, especially when air is restricted. A 5 foot (roughly 1.5m) long hose should be sufficient with a comfortable shoulder strap but options for hoses up to 10 ft (roughly 3m) would be nice too.

    Had our Henry Quick over a year, machine performance is unchanged despite almost daily use, used in the car, dusting and vacuuming, overall an excellent performing machine, couple of things I’d change, brush head too bulky, could do with a flexi hose especially in the car and tight spaces, my charger plug failed after 6 months but Numatic sent replacement within a few days, and one last thing only use genuine bags, the patten after market ones stretch and cause airflow resistance on high power mode, don’t waste money on after market bags, I ought to have reviewed the machine after a year of almost daily usage, I’d rate it 4.5 out of 5 overall, good performance, nice aesthetics in use, not too noisy, decent run time, not too expensive, as mentioned a hose and a better head design as a bit bulky especially under low furniture , especially the connector universal joint from pipe to head.

    A flexible hose is a good idea. 💡

      Definitely, I wish could get a hose for my Henry quick, I even sent Numatic an email asking if they plan a hose to be available.

      A Quick pro has just been released with a hose. Maybe you can buy the hose as a separate accessory.

    That's some impressive cleaning performance, and that on normal mode. Doesn't sound too annoying either. I'm more of a bagless fan, but I quite like the Henry.

    Is there a definite date for the completion of the Numatic factory expansion and Chard-manufactured Quicks? I am hoping Numatic hasn't drank the Chinesium Kool Aid and is quietly dropping those plans...

    Liking the look of this but does anyone know how good and what the filtration is like ? There doesn’t seem to be any detailed information about filtration. Looking for someone with allergies. Cheers

    Is there a difference between the Normal (red) henry and the henry pet? or is it just the attachment? there is a huge price difference currently. £199 (red) £339 (pet) i can buy the red and get the pet attachment for less than the Pet henry if that’s the case. which one would you buy for pets?

    I HATE bagless vacuums and the way they clog up with dog hair and filth. So this looks great. Slightly concerned about performance though, I've had cordless vacuums in the past that start off okay but become feeble and useless within about a year. Not sure if that is due to the batteries or the filter clogging up.

    • @ibaisaic
      @ibaisaic  Месяц назад

      You’ll have no trouble with filter clogging up on this one as the bag is the filter and gets renewed once it’s full.

      They are availible in the us but are quite expensive. ~$600, or you could get someone to send you one from the uk. The power can be 110v or 220v, so you would only need a plug adapter (uk-USA)

      Despite featuring the Numatic name, the Henry Quick is actually produced in China by a company called KingClean.

      Only while they extend the UK factory. Then they'll be made over here.

    • @MrWolfSnack
      @MrWolfSnack 2 месяца назад +2

      As was stated over a year ago - they are building an entirely new addition onto the factory in Chard as well as giving their main factory a slight machinery upgrade to the plastic stamping machines. While the construction is ongoing, the Henry Quik and only the Henry Quik will be made in China until their factory is completed. Once the factory is completed it will be made in the UK. They know what they are doing. Also I will let you in on a little secret you do not know - Miele and Sebo make their cleaners in China and they sell for over $1,900 and people buy them in droves. China is the new 1980's Japan.

      Sebo Stein & Co. GmbH have been based in Velbert, Germany since the company was founded in 1978.
      Every Sebo branded vacuum cleaner has been made at their Velbert facilities.
      Over 90% of the components in a Sebo machine are made by Sebo themselves at Velbert.
      Sebo are proud to continue to say their products are 'Made in Germany'.
      Miele continue to make their more high end products in Germany but some of their products, including some vacuum ranges, are now made elsewhere - including China.

      All the Quick models are the same apart from the colour. The Pet model comes with the mini motorised tool and extra fragrance discs, but as you say, it is cheaper at the moment to buy a regular Quick and the motorised head. The mini head on its own is currently in offer for £37 from myhenry.com.
