      And we've really only lost 3 or 4 of those games to silly individual error. Direct corners, forest scoring straight in the middle of goal, Licha "marking" a man twice his size and build, midfield missing 5 yard passes and giving the ball away. Im not sure what else Ruben is supposed to do there, i stick with the manager, i've seen his system burning the midnight oil and its a big payoff when all said and done.

      @1972dsrai ppl shud realise if we go down we have a serious serious issue, the cut off onnthe prem is £100mil, it's £35mil in the championshipthwt excess £65mil needs to be gone, then there s the limit on club loss and debt, we have £800mil thereabouts, how do we solve that? Parachute payments of £30mil won't put a dent in that...bankruptcy becomes very real if u research it, we cannot get relegated with the debt and wages we hold

    The trouble is over the last 12 years and in particular the last 5 or so, any player they buy wants 50% more wages than theyre worth.
    No player this summer will want to join Man Utd if Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City, Newcastle, Chelsea etc are in for them except if Utd agree to pay them way more than those other clubs are offering.

    No matter what ,Amorim must stick with his back 3 and make it clear its his way or the highway.
    However ,at this point in time ,he should consider using a 3--4--1--2 formation . Use Amad on the right as rightwinger and Antony as a Leftwinger and then upfront play Hojlund and Zirkzee with Bruno behind them and then Ugarte and perhaps Collyer or Gore in central midfield . And then a back 3 of De Ligt ,Maguire and Mazraoui .

    • @OrcaT-j1y
      @OrcaT-j1y День назад +1

      Yeh I do think it should be Amad and Antony at wing back for the time being. But I think Eriksen (unless he's off in Jan) could be ok playing behind Rasmus in one of the 10s (and Bruno in the other 10, who could at times play deeper to add another body in cm). Not ideal, but i dont know why Amorim hasn't tried that and instead plays Eriksen in cm.

    It took local lads, youth, academy players of the past to lead United to dominant eras, youth is United, youth is the DNA the babes, the 92, with mangers who taught those impressionable young minds what they needed to do for them. Now it's got to be Amorims turn. If the old heads can't play the system, drop them all and teach the up and coming. The hungry, the wanting to play, the start up of their careers. Youngsters learn, seniors are stuck in their ways. Play the Youth. With half a season left theres Nothing to lose now. United need an injection of new players with no money, boom use the whole academy.

    • @johnmichaelson9173
      @johnmichaelson9173 3 дня назад

      He won't put the responsibility on the youth, it's not their job to learn this system under the pressure of must win PL games. It won't benefit the youth & it won't benefit the first team player's who have to convince the manager that they're capable of staying at the club. Amorim is gonna do it his way & that's using, rotating & assessing the senior squad player's.

    • @ghostly1178
      @ghostly1178 3 дня назад

      @johnmichaelson9173 Every game is a must win from the beginning to the end of the season. It shouldn't matter what situation you're in. Also, under the United Badge, the pressure is always on. The youth of previous generations got thrown into the deep end, into title winning teams, with instructions to win the league. That's heavy responsibility and pressure taken on. Survival is the objective this time, and in a short career, the sooner the youngsters take responsibility, the better. In comparison to winning, survival should be easy winning a game here and there all whilst the youth are learning from Amorim. The senior can play, maybe a senior backline defending the youth. But United needs a whole new outfield full of fresh talent. If INEOS can't buy it, use the assets you have in the academy.

    The issue that we have is that our transfer windows prior to this one have been absolutely horrendous. I went through the last 3 summers we had before this one and its a horror show.
    2021 we got Sancho, Varane, Ronaldo and Heaton.
    2022. we got Antony, Casemiro, Martinez, Malacia and Eriksen.
    2023 we got Hojlund, Mount, Onana, Bayindir and Evans.
    Our best signings 3 years in a row were 30+ year old free transfers. Heaton, Eriksen (you can maybe debate Martinez) and Evans. And people wonder how have we ended up here. Its a miracle we finished last season in 8th already. All the stats pointed out that we should have been around 13-14th. Now we are just here.

      @1972dsrai 3 дня назад +1

      Since the Glazers came in Utd have consistently overpaid for players and given them too much too soon for too long. You’ve got so many average players on well over £100k pw. Diaz at Liverpool for example is on £50k pw in comparison. It’s boosted by bonuses and incentives based on achieving certain targets.

    • @wertiia
      @wertiia 3 дня назад +1

      @@1972dsrai Indeed and its a problem that perpetuates itself. Because new players and their agents know that we're paying bums big money obviously they're not going to settle for peanuts. And its the same for transfer fees as well. Its the one thing that got a bit better last summer with INEOS but clubs used to take the piss out of us every summer and we just paid stupid fees for garbage.

    A few points that I can speak on with specificity.
    Flek, I initially disagreed big time with your recent takes, but when you actually break it down and articulate the adjustments that you want to see, it's sage and wise.
    We don't (and definitely shouldn't) abandon the plans and principles. But yeah we can still look to tweak our approach, be it personnel, or ammended instructions within the structure of what we're working towards.
    And I also agree with both of you on your idea of blooding some of the youth immediately. Honestly a little surprised Amorim hasn't tapped into that traditional resource yet, considering every manager has done to great effect. Moyes, Januzaj. Van Gaal, Rashford. Mourinho, mcsauce and Axel. Eth, Mainoo and Gnashers.
    Ok fine, I'll concede that the success has been to varying degrees, but every single one of those introductions gave the team/squad a boost. Not up for debate. Factual.
    I proper understand flex's stance now.
    Amorim needs to stick to his guns, but he also needs to show some flexibility, relative to our current situation.

The problem is we are telling players who have never seen a 3 at the back system in their life to be good at it instantly. Collyer has had a few promising games already and worse ways he will improve more than Casemiro. Casemiro and Eriksen Can’t go up levels but the kids could. Garnacho has dropped but initially was fire, which at least right now that type of fire can bring us up the table to safety. The main Midfielders must be Ugarte, Mainoo, Collyer, Amad and Bruno (for now)

Amorim is a good coach, but to get him halfway through the season, when there are virtually no players in the squad who can play his system, is ludicrous, unless there is an agreement that he can play to the players strengths, until the summer, when there can be a clear out and new players bought. I mean surely Harry Amass can at least put a decent cross in on his left foot. Come on. Let's stop this

    The biggest flip flop on here is KG. As soon as we have bad results...he is like, there is nothing better...why change the system...go back to the way it was...he shows no real depth when thinking about things...just get the results so he can sing a revenge song for expressions. its shallow self centered thinking...its crazy. The thumbnail of this was "Play the youth" and the bashing was centered around manutd spending 600m...but guess what, the whole discussion with flex was about signing new players. Its madness 🤣

    Last 11 games for Utd are a real danger if they still need points. Only Leicester away, Wolves and West Ham are home are winnable imo. Arsenal, Forest, City, Newcastle, Brentford, Bournemouth, Chelsea and Aston Villa are all losses on current form. Getting around only 10 pts in the last 3rd of the season screams danger.

    fast note :
    343 formation depend on a superline of midfielders and i see man utd got a good fast front line ( antony amad garnacho and zee ) and not bad backline ( dalot yoro martinez ) and this backline which is not good but not bad is depending on midfilders so try to pick the superline midfilders !

    More genuine than real.... your talking foo foo. Emotional Damage.... who hurt you FLEX, you obviously can't handle the emotional roller coaster that is UNITED RIGHT NOW. RUBEN IS UNTOUCHABLE, Rashy is gone, Maguire, Shaw, Malacia, Eriksen, Casemiro, Lindeloff, these manz r gone, they not here next season, r they going to play to their maximum for Amorim, Nah. But Anorim has to use them, them team is just about a team. We need these youngster's to be picked out of the Reserves & just like the class of 92, your Ckub needs your, youth, tenacity, guile & desire to Win every tackle, every header. AMORIM is going to make mistake because he hasn't got a choice. Amorim has to balance the team for the season. Bring the youth through. We've got some youngster's who are on fire right now. Boo the veterans, if they can't handle the Amorim's way, let the young guns free. Obi Martin & Wheatley. Seko kona is needed in our midfield. We need a sprinkle of 28 olds experienced World Class player's. Tevez here, vidic their & Kobbie bang in the middle. Amorim is having to play Bruno who makes the team risky

    If we imagine that there’s a dark cloud over MUFC then let’s blame that dark cloud, we’ll get somewhere… MUFC is a poisoned chalice and any poison chalice or in city’s case (playing at a SUPER HIGH LEVEL) it’s inevitable that life brings you back down to earth. We’ve had our time and the club has disrespected itself in everything that it’s doing and been doing since they took over (GRAPING the club). Every dog has its day and THEY (the owners) aren’t acting on behalf of the lifeblood of the club which is THE FANS.. owe as BIG as we are the FALL is equally as hard
    #RELEGATIONrebootPLEASE OR
    #FANboycottingGAMESandMERCH (👈🏾 highly unlikely)

    I will only keep De Ligt, Mazraoui, Yoro, Martinez, Mainoo, Ugarte and Amad - either as starters or squad members. The rest are available for sale at any reasonable price.
    Considering FFP, I hope we can do some smart business by looking at those whose contracts are coming to an end soon + free transfers + swap deals. Also, promote some hungry academy players to be part of the 1st team squad. It can be done, but it needs a competent transfer guru to pull this off. All eyes on INEOS now.

Ive heard MU fans comaplain "we'' get relegated and it'll be better" thats an extra 3 years to rebuilding to a prem challenge. Ive also heard manutd fans compare this to liverpools dark age, its MUCH worse, MUCH worse. I love hating on UTD but even this is becoming a little sad. Question: i still fear the game on Sunday cause something something derby, form goes out the window BUT lets say we hit you for 6, IF the players leave 100% on the field i can live with that BUT if MANu players cant get up for this game are they truely dead

You're setting yourself up for disappointment by thinking he'll be able to deliver once he has his own players. If he is that stubborn and one dimensional that he will play with his system regardless of the players available, then he is no different from Ange is he?
