- Marrakech was a 4 day holiday to escape the wet winter of the UK. The city is beautiful with coffee shops and restaurants on every rooftop available. This makes for some amazing views (although a traditional law does not allow for buildings tone built higher than a palm tree).
The city was heavily touristic and the locals will take every single opportunity to squeeze as much money from you as possible. Do not listen or trust anyone offering help or assistance (i.e the road is closed or i will help you home) work things out for yourself as they will always hassle you for money and take you the wrong way home anyway! Bargain hard with the souk owners, they will start prices 3/4 times what the items worth.
Setti Fatma was a 25 Euro day trip which was a nice break from the hectic medina city centre.

Jamilay69 it’s never too cold there. As it’s still heavily Muslim it’s best to cover your knees especially if your a woman. The locals will love to tell you your not allowed down certain streets without being covered up!!!

I'm going to Morocco for two weeks on the 14th of January. I was told to bring very warm clothes and thermals as its very cold there.
What would you recommend? Yiu guys seem to be dressed in summer clothes.

It's safe mate. Been here 15 times and visited over 20 cities. That attack was actually the third since 2003 in Morocco. I am from Belgium myself and they have way more there...
