- A travel video of our 5 days in Marrakech, Morocco. Enjoy!
Day 1 - Yves Saint Laurent Gardens. Dinner at Kui Zin restaurant.
Day 2 - Exploring the Souks (markets). Lunch at Naranj restaurant (amazing food).
Day 3 - Souk Food Tour, done through Marrakech Food Tours (really recommend).
Day 4 - Amal cookery course. Non-profit charity that helps women get back on their feet - very inspirational!
Day 5 - Atlas Mountains waterfall hike. About a 2 hour journey from Marrakech, but so worth it.

Watch out girls, im moroccan, im not disencourage you to visit my counyry, but please girls watch out! Morocco still has ignorant people who never saw women before, dont adventure yourselves in empty isolated areas. This is for your own safety.

wouldn't advise tourist petting or coming within close proximity with feral animals rabies is a very real possibility in any third world country. Marrakesh is a enchanting place trapped in time. there is a fascinating Berber museum in the Jardin Majorelle of Yves Saint Laurent. I would also recommend visiting Fes and the Bab Bou Jeloud (big blue/green mosaic gate)

Thank you very much! It was very useful information! Just a small question on the budgeting, how much would you say, two people need in order to stay in Marrakesh for 5 days (hotels and food)?
it is about places, the price is changeable from place to another and from hotel to another, for example if you go to a hotel nearbye the center of the city that s will cost u a lot but in some other places will be less, in generale will cost you about 1086 Dollars and be careful from hustlers
You can do it much much cheaper using airbnb! You wont have a hotel, but riads have swimming pools too and are a little bit more authentique imho!

How much does the taxis cost there?
ONE 1 DOLLAR in center of city and the price increases according to the destination
They were around 20 Dirhams for a 10 minute taxi journey.
