SO beautiful, just love it, and i am sure that there in a short time will be a card who try its best to look like that ;) wish you a good weekend, and hope that cold soon will go away so we can get a healthy Kristina back..
I just love binge-watching your videos, particularly on stressful or those blue days, because it makes me happy just watching you make cards - it's peaceful and you bring a smile to my face
Love the colors in those balloons, Kristina! A (cheaper) alternative for hot-press watercolor paper is Strathmore Mixed Media Paper. It comes in pads, and is basically like a 140-lb. smooth cardstock. I use it for watercoloring when I don't want texture, and it holds up great. I've found it at Michael's & Hobby Lobby, and since they have coupons, it can be fairly inexpensive. Just thought you and your viewers might want to know. I really do like this card, with the multi-colored balloons and gold embossing. Thanks so much for sharing! Hope you get over your cold soon.
Love the balloon background, including all of the strings hanging down. Very cute. I'm going to have to give using vellum a try. I always worry that the adhesive will show. Thanks, Kristina!
This is so pretty, Kristina. I thought the balloons might look muddled with the overlapping and the water, but they don't. Cool discovery. I am glad you are back.
Just beautiful Kristina!! I love the rainbow colors and the gold! Wow! You always know what little details will take a card to the next level. You were the first youtube card maker that I fell in love with watching your videos and the cards you made. I have learned soooo much watching your videos and I'm so thankful to be able to learn from your amazing talent! I even have an alert for when your new videos get uploaded so I can watch right away. : ) Thanks for sharing a little bit of your world with us.
I really love how you made the balloon background. Fantastic card! Hope your cold goes away soon, my daughter and I fighting one too. Must be the Utah weather.
Having a day off, so have just caught up with your last 4 videos. So glad to see you back. Missed your tutorials. This card is fantastic, your inspiring as ever. Get well soon. xo
Oh wow, i am new to card making, but after watching Create & Craft TV I got the card making bug. I've been searching for card ideas and came across your videos - they are super awesome and am learning loads already! thank you so much for doing these videos, you make it look so easy.
This card is really beautiful, i love the colors. And i just want to say that i'm happy that you are back. I missed your videos. (i hope that i said it right ^-^")
Wow theese video's are so awesome I just started to try my hand at card making and stamping but just can not aford the things I need but you sure do rock
Such a beautiful card I love it so so much!. The balloons are awesome, I really need that paper...and the vellum really ties it all together!. I did have a question...did you mean for the purple balloon to be so short or is that the string from the green balloon? Sorry I just feel the need to ask.
Love your card making videos and I noticed you rarely address what kind of envelopes you use. Do you make your own, or do you stick to the same size card and purchase in bulk envelopes that fit that size card?
Gorgeous card!! I need to find that watercolor paper! Did Am Crafts change the formulation for the Wow! Powders? The original formulation actually had anti static properties built into it, so it was actually better if you didn't use an antiststic method before?
Betsey Terry Wow Embossing Powders are not from American Crafts. WOW is a separate company. They're based int he UK, I believe. You're probably thinking of the Pow! embossing powders from AC. That being said, I still always use a powder tool with embossing powders. I live a dry climate with lots of static.
K Werner Design i knew they were based in the UK, but had seem some references to American Crafts with them, so thought maybe they had bought/partnered with them. But the original formula when they first came to the US in 2009, actually had something in them where you weren't supposed to use an anti-static tool
This is a cool card idea. I think I will get the kit or subscribe so I can have more fun with cards. It didn't look too hard and the card looks like something real special :)
