I’d love to see an in depth video of the Jibun Techo when it arrives. A look into the pages and differences between the versions. I’ve seen people use it but I get confused as to what version they own. Although I know you guys probably already have that in your plans 😊.
I use the cousin planner strictly for planning. It gives me enough space to include my daily personal to do’s, work- to do’s, meal planning, workout tracker, weekly expenses. etc.
This is my 3rd year using the Jibun Techo amdmI think it is amazing, I use the planner structure for my daily schedule and the Idea for my journal, super useful. Is also my 1st year using the Hobonichi. I got the One Piece Japanese version 2024, and I use it for my Chuch studies, which is very good because have lots of space. For 2025, I ordered the English version, and I am looking forward to see it. Japansese paper are the best❤❤
I use Hobonichi A6 and Jibun Techo simultaneously. I use Hobonichi A6 for more of a catch-all planning, including journaling. I use a B6 slim “mini” Jibun Techo for a much structured weekly work scheduling and planning. I think they go well together, especially for those who consider the cousin to be a little heavy on the mobility side. Give it a try!
I got the MD 1 day 1 page A5 this year and I love it. It's very flexible. Some days you don't have that much going on, so using the whole page for journaling is totally something you can do. The hour markers are unobtrusive. Sometimes I like to write what I'm doing in the hour slots just to keep myself mindful of time's passing, because I have a tendency not to be. I've been trying to plug it to my ADHD having friends who don't think they'll remember to use a planner because you date it yourself. If you forget for a while, it's no big deal. Just pick it up again when you think of it, and the habit will build.
I use both jibun techo and hobinichi. The jibun techo is my planner (track health and life) and hobinichi hon for my daily journaling. I am excited to know you carry both!
lol using my TN weekly and memo to write down names and styles of all the other planners I now have to buy. Already ordered my 2025 Hobonichis but am now obsessed with the 2 page per day Hibino Daily!
I didn't know Yoseka was going to have Jibun techos, I already pre-ordered elsewhere for my standard kit and jibun days. Looking forward to seeing what accessories and stuff yoseka will have for it though!
Thank you for this video. I never heard about the other planners. I’m from the US and IMHO we lack in journaling options . We have not very few stores that are dedicated to this. I started using the Hobo this year and love it. It’s the paper ❤❤❤.
I have been hoping for a little more information about it since I saw they'd start carrying it. I wonder if they are also going to carry the DAYs besides the standard Diary.
I've used both jibun and hobonichi. I like the jibun set (life, diary, and idea) because i still use the life book and the plastic cover until now 4 years later, maybe forever. The idea is great though too thin for me, it's VERY beaten up having transferred from bag to bag and used a LOT. The diary is very similar to the hobonichi but with a built in habit tracker, and other minor differences. The most glaring though, was the ink in jibun! I really did NOT like how high contrast the ink for the grid is compared to the hobonichi. Makes my writing look really messy because there are so many visible lines in the jibun. I like the structurenof the jibun, but i prefer the pages and ink of the hobonichi.
@@pandahparade oh… 😐 i mean like i feel that it’s under appreciated since it’s one of the newer ones, especially when there is a lot of hype for hobonichi (and rightfully so). i run the subreddit for the hibino so i’m always very happy to see it mentioned. plus my comment was just a silly take on the america mention rahhh 🇺🇸🦅💥 meme that goes around in comment sections.
The Kokuyo Jibun Techo is great for me. I've been buying them for the last few years and I really like them. They will probably sell out by the end of the year too!
Thank you for the great video. I just got my first Hibino this year and am excited to use it! I'm also a big fan of the Marks Storage It Weekly Schedule for work/personal. I don't see that one mentioned a lot, but it's a great weekly planner, but not good for journaling at all.
Hi, I am new here. I just recently discovered your RUclips channel channel due to Hobonichi 2025 release. While I was studying in Chung Yuan University in Taiwan about 20 to 30 years ago, there was a Yoseka Stationary nearby. And that was my most visited place during my college years because of my major. I was wondering if you two have any connections?
The A6 black cover is the Arts & Science collaboration version, which has plainer colors inside; the A6 cream colored one is the Original version and has a more colorful index. Otherwise they are both the same format!

Jetpens has good videos on their weekly and daily versions!
I use the days mini for work and it's super useful

I pre-ordered my Hibino from Yoseka and got it super fast. It's so cute and I can't wait to use it for 2025!
MD 1 DAY 1 PAGE MENTIONED!! It's SUCH an underrated planner
Thank you for posting this excellent video. I appreciate it very much.
Love seeing the Hibino mentioned!

Great video with really solid explanations of the differences between these Japanese planners. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing! I just ordered the hobo cousin and weeks! I was expecting the weeks in there but wow good too see what Japan is buying.🙋🏻♀️
Please do an in-depth review of the Kokuyo Jibun Techo.

I agree
I'm looking at the Jibun Techo Lite and hoping for an in depth review of it or a good section during a review of the Jibun Techo.

HIBINO MENTIONED AHHH !!! 🥰💜✨🥰💜✨🥰💜✨
Why wouldn’t it be

Great tip, thank you for sharing :)
Thank you for sharing. Make more sense for me - I only love the Cousin because of the week feature. The day page really scare me
This really helped me❤
Okay, I am getting excited about the Kokuyo Jibun Techo! Side note, if the Midori Hibino came in A5, it would replace my A5 Hobonichi.
Aww.. sad you didn’t mention the Muji planners. My fave 🌟
Love hobonichi ❤tomoe river paper

Yep, one of the owners of the US Yoseka is the child of the people that own that store.
I use Hobonichi and jibun techo a5 slim
Top 5 according to a Hobonichi fan boy or fan girl:
1. Hobonichi
2. Hobonichi
3. Hobonichi
4. Hobonichi
5. Hobonichi
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Does the Jibun Techo have a version with year, month, week and days? And does this planner use the same paper as Hobonichi?
when is the traveler's 2025 coming out? I use mine to log what happened for a quick scan
Hi! I’m new to the possibility of journaling. What is the difference between the A6 black cover and the cream colored one?
The A6 black cover is the Arts & Science collaboration version, which has plainer colors inside; the A6 cream colored one is the Original version and has a more colorful index. Otherwise they are both the same format!
@ Thank you so very much.
Do gel pens bleed through? What about markers?
All of these planners would do great with gel pens and markers :)
Am surprised the Hibino is using TRP and not MD Paper!
❤
I still don’t know what i’m going with next year.
❤
