  • I will teach you to save and reuse your zipper-operated belongings what ever they are.
Purses, Luggage, Zipper Boots, Jackets & more!
Now you don't have to throw away anything you paid good money for.
This will work for Nylon-plastic zippers (plastic)
You can fix others and make some money.
The teeth tends to come off the underlying material and the zipper head may still work but the item won’t function and may feel loose such as knee high boots, ankle boots, backpacks, hoodies.
I will come out with another video on fixing your favorite hoddie.
As a matter of fact it’s already done.
Just click in the Pinned Comments. You’ll see it.

First accessed July 2021, second time Sept 2024
I first used your instructions to mend a section of similar length on my tent zip. Before this I was fearful the tent would have to be dumped. The door zip 1½ metre in length would be too expensive to replace.
After a camp, August 2024, two more sections of loose teeth (4cm and 16cm) appeared. Try as I might I couldn’t find this clip and why did I do it in white cotton? But it did serve a purpose because it showed the ‘rip’ hadn’t occurred at the original repair. Thankfully I found the title and time length of your tutorial on the 2021 kitchen calendar. Another successful repair achieved. This time I did it in red cotton.
Those out there mending a tent zip, remember to loosen off all guys in the mornings because the heat of the sun causes the tent fabric to be skin tight. This causes undue stress on tent zips when in and out, opening and closing during the day. I also wrote this down but completely forgot about my own findings from 3 years ago.
    Many thanks Carlos
