Your channel is always helpful, but I think this is the most important video you’ve ever done! So many influencers (video and print) put prostaglandin eye products on their best list, w/no warning at all! So tyvm and good on you for this necessary information.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Everyone who even thinks of using lash or brow growth products needs to see this. I see so many beauty influencers on social media with darkened eyelids who I know are using and even promoting these products. We need more influencers to spread the word.
I used the Ordinary eyelash and brow serum for six solid months. I had ZERO improvement in the thickness or growth of my lashes. Truly a disappointment.
You read my mind--I was hoping a reliable source would talk about the best eyelash serums! I used your link and ordered the castor oil from Amazon. Thank you very much!
I have blue eyes and I've been using GrandeLash for at least four years now and I have none of these side effects. My lashes are double the thickness and triple the length that they used to be. My profile pic is about a year old, but I'm 40. I see no fat loss around my eyes, I'm constantly thought to be significantly younger than I am. I don't see how they're saying the fast loss happens to 100% of users. It's not true at all for me.
I too have blue eyes so, I stay away from any type of lash growth product. I do use them on my brows...been using RapidBrow for years now. And just recently started using the Grande Brow...I use one at night and one in the morning.
I had the eyelid darkening from the Grande Lash. I’m now paranoid my Iris is darker… I’ve used The Ordinary but you don’t get the results like you do with the prostaglandin analogs.
Okay idk how i came across this cause i was searching for best eyelash serum on the market. But im glad i did because the side effects are so scary and defining not worth it. Castor oil it is!
Thank you so much for this, incredibly helpful. I checked my new eyelash serum and while it doesn't have the ingredients mentioned, I found Ethylparaben, methylparaben, butylparaben and butylene. Aren't these ingredients generally toxic??? How safe is this to use?
They are preservatives and are in there because the manufacturer doesn’t want to risk you getting an eye infection from their product. Think about it, you put the wand back in the tube after having it against your eyelashes, which contain bacteria, even when your kids are clean. Then after application, you put the wand back in the enclosed, dark tube, allowing the bacteria from the wand to contaminate the serum solution in the tube. No, the parabens are not ideal, but neither would be a serious eye infection.
Thank you for your response@@hiannahgus574 That makes a lot of sense. The ordinary serum mentioned in the video does not contain parabens though, do you think it has safer preservatives?
@@Mari14Bella That I don’t know, as I am not a cosmetic chemist, and don’t have time right now to do that research. Given the very small amount of product being applied, a thin smear of liquid, as say compared to a body lotion being used all over the body, I would probably take a chance with a paraben or other preservative rather than risk potential infection.
Google is free. EWG has basic info on almost all ingredients. Why are you putting something into your body that you know nothing about to begin with?....
I used a lash serum and it got in one of my eyes and my vision was already bad but it got way worse and I have glasses but It was still really bad with my glasses but after a while its starts getting better but my eye ended up really dry after that it took like 10-20 minutes for my vision to start to go back to normal but it still burned so like I don't recommend because my vision is still slightly impaired so be careful y'all also it hurts your head so much its so painful
@@susanneryding6064you'd be surprised what Castor oil will do. It can break down cysts and tumours. But anyway back to lashes. Revivlash works really well and doesn't contain prostaglandins.
I have been using Babe Lash. grande is good as well… just use way less than you think… I just swirl the little brush in the opening to get off excess and put it just where it’s needed. So any lid redness is reduced quite a bit. No side effects experienced for me personally. Been using it for a couple years. No eye color changes noted.
I am Indian(Asian, yeah the real Indian, haha), we are known for long eyelashes and knee-length hairs but sadly not in my case, i found this eyedrop at a generic store, it has Travoprost 0.04% eye drop. it is dirt cheap, better than all eyelash serums, and results are visible in just 2 weeks best part, i have not been using it since a year and my lashes are still thick and long.
I used Latisse for “ eyelash growth” I bought it from a doctor. Used it for over a year or more. DOES NOT WORK. I repeat. I DID NOT WORK AT ALL!!! Fortunately no side effects other than extremely pricey. Waste of money.

Absolutely wild. I bought rapid lash because it was on sale and had absolutely no idea. Thank you!

Try castor oil very tiny amount
what about on ur eyebrows did u see any improvement there
Cuz it has no chemicals. All natural lash serums wont do shit
Just try Bonilash. I am suffering from trichotillomania (or however its spelled) and it worked miracles for me
Wet n wild makes one that has castor oil and peptides in it and it is only 5.99!
Thank you for this important information 😊 great video I really enjoyed watching them.
Excellent video I did not know any of that

Water (Aqua), Butylene Glycol, ethanol, glycerin, phenoxy ethanol, polyacrylic acid, tromethamine, PEG -32, PEG -6, disodium this dithiol this, dangyak extract, carbonate, biotin, sodium hyaluronidase, Maltodextrin, ginseng extract, ethylhexyl glycerin, iris extract, aloe vera leaf extract, yellow No. 4
I used the ordinary lash and brow and it worked for my lashes but ended up with so much irritation i had to stop.
Great informative video! Thank you!
Thank you! I got a larger sample of Grande Lash from Sephora and I checked and yes it does. I don’t want any of the side effects

Still destroys the fat pads. Don't want droopy eyebrows lol
@@MissKrisLoves No, I don't!
This is why you research before using any skincare or haircare products
Thank you for your video. I'm starting to lose my eyebrows out of the sudden. Do you have any recommendation to grow my eyebrow again? Thanks

Thank you so much for making this video for us! Know if these products can cause styes?
Great info thank you thank you
It seems amazing to me that these products are being sold over the counter. Crazy.

Love that lipstick on you
What is it?
Thank you so much 🙏… its very informative
I would never use these products, it's not worth the risk just to get longer lashes. I'll stick with mascara!

Can you do a review for NuSkin products and is the $$$$ with it
Incredible
What about procapil like in the Rimmel london lash accelerator serum or mascara? I know I've seen videos on procapil for hair loss.
Can i use castor oil?
What about Dermelect XL Lash Volumizer for Lashes and Brows Anti Aging Serum with Peptides?
Revitabrow? I can't find ingredients list.
I did a Google search and found that Revitabrow does contain a prostaglandin (Dechloro Dihydroxy Difluoro Ethylcloprostenolamide) (DDDE)
I have used castor oil and does not work at all
But the one I use is after cancer and hairloss. And want eyelaahes back. It cointains bimatoprost. What Can I fo ? The hospital gave me that reciept
I do not Think castiroil is enough in that situation
