Yup, ice conditions have been crap for awhile but up north here we're finally getting good ice for ice fishing and snowmobiling. Perch are delicious but yes, you need quite a few to make a meal.
Yes the conditions are getting a lot better. I want to pack a trip north to do some back country lakes. Ya it’s hard to keep them because if you only get a few it’s not even a meal. But when they are biting they sure are fun to catch!
My husband is heading to Lake Simcoe on Thursday to do some fishing! Hoping for ice but planning for water. Glad the weather is finally cooperating a little.

It has been such a warm winter that winter really hasn't even arrived down here in NJ. Nice job getting on some perch!
It has been, gotten better here now but still warm. At least we have ice here now. It’s always good to get out and catch a few
