    REALLY appreciate the meaty content. Too many recent microgreens-specific videos of late have been interviews/talking and lean on the growing info.

      My goal is to show the things that can be done behind the growing!

    Hola Andy, muy buenos tu videos. Solo tengo una sola duda. Como se riegan y con que y en cuanto tiempo. LLevan alguna algun sistema especial, ya sea por goteo o solo se riegan con la manguera? Saludos

      The video shows how we have the whole system setup. The hose timer runs for exactly 1 minute, which fills the bucket up about 1/2 way.
      We soak sunflower for 4 hours, wheatgrass for 8 hours, peas and corn for 12 hours, and beets and chard for 1 hour. :)

    Why dont u soak it when put the seeds in bucket. I mean why dont you put the water at same time

    • @AndyMussaw
      @AndyMussaw  2 месяца назад

      @shery642 because the seeds soak for different amounts of time, and most of them would have to have the water added during the middle of the night. This solves both of those problems for me. :)

    I don't understand, why can't you just leave the seeds soaking... ?

    • @AndyMussaw
      @AndyMussaw  Год назад

      Seeds can drown if they are soaked for too long. We soak a lot of ours for different amounts of time. Some for 1 hour, some 4, some 8, and some 12 hours. So having this automated setup eliminates the issue of having those varying soak times. They all soak at different times, automatically, overnight, so when we arrive in the morning, everything is ready to be planted. No waiting! :)

      @@AndyMussaw so the water comes out at the bottom and then it shots water at the seeds for a set ammout of time constantly? And thanks for answering.

    • @AndyMussaw
      @AndyMussaw  Год назад

      Yes, the water comes out of the hose nozzle. We run it in "shower" mode so it's aggressively spraying, but not too aggressive. We want the seeds to be agitated while the bucket is being filled.
