In my option a small creator is any account with under 10k that can’t get certain features with accounts over 10k
As someone wanting to try and become a creator I like all these changes, because it feels like aggregators getting more views thus paid for content you may not yet be getting paid for doesn't seem fair. same with creators getting a lot of views consistently but when you are new you don't have thousands of followers yet, people have to find you, but you get lost among bigger creators with more content already created
Is sourcing like stitching a reel from someone else is that gonna be bad practice too?

Will this effect trends like the ones using very catchy footage and transitioning into original content? For example reels where they use an unoriginal video where someone trips which transitions into original content from the brand for the rest of the video.
To my understanding, no. This is more about downloading someone's reel and reposting it without any additional changes/commentary!
Many of us have been suffering the same identity crisis.
If we utilize the nine grid, the thing that always trips me up is am I supposed to put something in the captions section for each of the post? Because writing caption is what drains me the most.
I guess you don't have to since it's more about the grid view, but it wouldn't hurt to add some additional context on whatever each post is sharing. The good thing is you only need to do this once!
I wonder how Insta will start treating the capcut style greenscreen templates, if it will seem original or not?
That's a good question! I think they're fine, this is more about downloading someone's reel and reposting it without any additional changes. But with the potential TikTok ban, I am cautious about relying too much on CapCut

14:44 I honestly believe they have all the tools to make it super personalized, but they're purposefully waiting to launch the over-personalization. If everybody's feed was curated directly for them immediately, people would be turned off. Ya know?
Also, so many servers would be needed for the data storage for each individual??

7:18 yeah, it’s for a reason - those accounts just don’t bother to integrate naturally into the environment/communities.
It’s far more of an after hours type vibe.
Also re threads views - some users have had that ability for a couple months, not me, but people were complaining about it at the time lmao
I'm beginning to have a love and hate relationship with IG, mainly because of the constant changes. I understand being innovative but it's a bit much, so I am prioritizing my RUclips channel for my bookkeeping business. My goal is less social media this year, so I will be considered more in person options as well.

I think me like many others are over how much effort it takes to figure out Instagram and by the time you've created your monthly content ahead of time it's already no good bc IG changes constantly. Too much effort for little results.
