These are the best wide receivers in the NFL today based on the 2022-23 season. I will consider each player’s overall talent and their statistical impact throughout this past season. The best NFL receivers don’t need the best Quarterbacks in the NFL throwing to them. They get the job done regardless.
Please like and subscribe to spread the word about my countdowns and turn on post notifications to know when I post a new video. It would be weird if you agreed with all of my opinions, so let me know what you think about the order of my lists!

What would you change about this list?
I just told you. Read and learn.
I personally wouldn’t have waddle higher than 10 but that’s just me. He definitely is going to be an absolute stud though. I would also take Hopkins off. Scary terry should definitely be on it.
Aj brown over diggs. Brown had more yards and the same amount of tds with 20 less receptions and no jalen hurts for a couple games.
Justin Jefferson should be higher. 😂
Good list tho, probably have Waddle a little lower and Chase higher.
What about OBJ, Julio Jones Keenan Allen, DeAndre Hopkins and Michael Thomas?
What about DK?
Terry McLaurin????
No DKM is crazy AF 🤔
JJettas all day baby! #legend #SKOL
Where’s Cooper Kupp? Was he not ranked because of his injury?
Exactly
@@SOGFootballtrash reason
@@BBWatson100It's the past season bruh, how is Kupp elite in a season he didn't play
@@shadowjinkus1070He literally still played more than half the season and was on pace to replicate what he did in 2021? Let’s not act like he missed the whole year💀💀
@@SOGFootballTyler Lockett is on his 4th straight 1k yards season give him his props
Really good list - can't really argue it much except putting my personal "up or down" on any one WR. But good list - and good job. * The only additional consideration, for me, comes from an article I recently read. It is a Top 10 WR list that was based soley on Next-Gen Stats. Of course the WR's to be considered had to have a minimum number of targets, games, etc. The Next Gen Stats were used to try and determine which receivers made catches that had a less than 50% expected completion rate according to Next Gen Stats metrics. The list attempts to show how much any one reveiver was an asset to his QB by adding perhaps unexpected catches and yards by making the more difficult catches having less that a 50% expected completion rate.
Somewhat surprisingly, Hopkins came in at #9, and Justin Jefferson just missed the cut. Jefferson just missed as the majority of his catches had over a 50% expected completion rate. That is not a "knock" on Jefferson - the Vikings threw him the ball a lot and he caught it - many difficult ones. It is just the "difficulty" level of the AVERAGE OF ALL his catches that caused him to just miss the list. I think Diggs was at 6, with Higgins and Boyd, but not Chase, making the list - both in the top 5. The biggest surprise was the Number One WR on this list : Richie James (on the Giants in 2022, and now in 2023, to almost no ones surprise, is on the Kansas City Chiefs....). Regardless, I guess anyway, it will be interesting to see how he performs with Mahomes throwing him the ball.
Anyway, if interested in this more unique ranking list on NFL WR's, simply Google search "Top 10 WR's Next Gen Stats". It is the first article listed from NFL.com and, in my humble and honest opinion, offers an interesting and insightful look at the WR's in the NFL today. Would you use the information from the Next Gen list to influence the rankings on this list?
How do you not have mike evans or cooper Kupp
remember its 2023 kupp had an injury makes sense if you think about it kupp will be top 5 though if he stays healthy next season
You put waddle and lamb over devente smith bro and diggs 😂😂
Waddle being an afterthought? You should’ve took that to the grave. I’m trying not to judge you😂
Jamar Chase is a top 3 receiver. Jaylen Waddle is not a top 10 receiver. Tee Higgins should be in the top 10. Tee Higgins is better than Cee Dee Lamb.
Chase is not better then brown.
Your giving me huge bangles fan vibes lol
What about OBJ, Julio Jones Keenan Allen, DeAndre Hopkins and Michael Thomas?
They aren’t top tier
Jefferson, Kupp, Hill, Chase, Diggs, Adams, Brown , Lamb , Sun God, are the top 9 wrs in the league and in fantasy going into 2023. After that toss up between Waddle, Higgins, Hopkins Evans, Metcalf for thst last spot. Hopkins is getting uo there in age though
Mclaurin better than lamb lol
Dj Moore had a better season than half those guys
I don't think cede lamb or Jaylen Waddle should be in the top ten of best receivers in the NFL. Because one Jaylen Waddle has Tyreke Hill on the other side and it easy to be a number 2 when you have a great number one on the other side of the field. Cede Lamb isn't a great route runner and can't separate like a number one receiver. So a lot of the hype is based on what guys did last year and not talking about what they did throughout there whole career this far
Where is Tee Higgins? Higgins is better than St Brown and Lamb and Waddle.
No he is not
No! he's definitely not 😂
Where is Cooper Krupp?!?!😂😂😂
Justin Jefferson IS NOT the best WR in the game. Kupp is better and Hill is better. You can’t gameplan for those guys. JJ was completely shut down 4 times last year
CD def ain’t top 10
Where's DK Metcalf?
Where is J. Chase
AJ brown top 3
Justin jefferson1
Do your homework dj chark isn’t on the lions anymore
AJ Brown over Jamarr Chase makes absolutely zero sense
Jamarr Chase missed multiple games, AJB did not.
@@SOGFootball Is this based off last season or going into next season? Because by using that logic, some dude like Kalif Raymond on the Lions who played all 17 games would be more valuable then Chase or Kupp
But the title of the video says best today. Doesn’t say best from 2022 season. If it’s best wrs today. Chase should be 3rd at worst. Then waddle and Hopkins should be off the top 10. Cooper kupp is a top 5 no doubt. And Garrett Wilson should be 7th or 8th. Such a terrible carousel of quarterback play last season and she still managed to be the top rookie.
@@droppinmikes5612 In the first 10 seconds I say it's based on last season. I love Wilson going into this next season tbh.
How? He just had a better season then chase has ever had.
Am brown isn’t better than jamaar
How dont u have Mike Evans?
Yes
Kupp over Waddle, regardless of injury
Yeah right lol Waddle way better!
Putting ja’marr chase at 6 is a crime
It's only because he was injured
@@SOGFootball Hopkins was suspended for the first 6 games yet he still got in the top 10. Which he shouldn’t be in my opinion.
@@SOGFootballTwo 1k yard seasons and Terry is on his 3rd straight and not even in the list😂 you don’t watch enough
@@FxckNxg their are a lot of good receivers in the nfl you can make a case for 16 diffrent wide receivers being top ten its the tuffest position to rank in the nfl because everyone is so good he definetly watches football
so you do not know Jerry Rice?
“Top 10 Best Wide Recivers in the NFL TODAY! 2023” I mean it’s basically in the name, but good for you knowing who jerry rice is man good job 👍🏻, Your still slow tho
Honestly I don’t disagree with any 10 of those guys that you have on your list. If I were to critique… maybe put copper kupp in there somewhere but I understand if you didn’t because of his injury last year
Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Steve Largent, Chris Carter, Devonte Adam's, Mavin Harrison, Michael Irvin, Art Monk, Calvin Johnson....and maybe a current player....not sure. My top 10 and Jerry and Randy are 1 and 2....period!
God bless you man, keep it up
All of the Glory goes to God
I don't know what sport YOU'RE watching! Garbage list just bc you put JJettas at 1. HE'S SO OVERRATED AND TRASH!!! BRO JJETTAS IS 4 IN MY BOOK!!! He doesn't have the football IQ you need for this league yet. DAVANTE ADAMS IS THE GOATMASTER AT #1!! Davante has the best route running, football IQ, and hands in the NFL (maybe D-Hop, but by any case, Davante is 2nd). He also has fantastic speed, agility, and physicality as well. Tyreek would be #2 for me, and Stephon Diggs at #3. JJettas POOOOPPOOOOOO!!!
Furthermore, I firmly believe that Davante had a FAR better season than JJettas just now. Davante walked into Las Vegas, headed by the WORST COACH IN THE NFL, Josh McDaniels, and a POPY QB, Derek Carr. He STILL led the league in TDs and was 3rd in receiving yards. Davante also made the best catch of the year against the 49ers (better than JJettas' catch against the Bills), and played out of his MIND!!
People talk about how JJettas had a good season, but what did he do for the Vikings? NOTHING! He didn't help them win against the Giants in the playoffs (ABSOLUTE TRASH PERFORMANCES FROM HIM AT THE END OF THE SEASON WHEN IT REALLY MATTERED), he did SQUAT against Jaire Alexander (go Packer Nation btw), and he didn't break any records this season? I don't know about you, but that's a garbage season to me, especially since JJettas is in the PERFECT UTOPIAN SYSTEM in Minnesota, with 50 million targets per game from Kirk.
You need to watch football.
Bro the fact that terry didn’t even make it on this list is ludicrous. He had to deal with 12 different qbs and still manage to get 1,000 yards
Your a clown lol
Stay mad, your pulling this shit out of your ass bud
@@Samisgood478 Lol you be jealous of Davante. JJettas is absolute crap compared to Davante. Lol you stay mad you silly old flipflap! Davante is the GOAT!!
Why so salty? Putting sentences in caps don’t make it anymore true. I think it’s funny how you cherry pick games to fit your narrative. Don’t act like he didn’t burn the packers week 1. Packers learned their lesson and double triple teamed him the second go around but hey let’s ignore that fact. Lmfao, you call JJ trash but he’s #4 on your list. 🤣🤣🤡 Sorry but his catch was way better. No one even remembers Davante’s catch against the 49ers because it was just a damn catch! Your reasons are lame as fuck. They both were on teams with new coaches, they both had shitty defenses, they both had a mediocre qb. They both were the #1 target for their quarterbacks. Using your own logic, Davante didn’t do shit for his team this season. He didn’t get his team to the playoffs. He had games where he got shut down too but hey let’s not talk about that either cause it won’t fit your narrative! Guess what! Great receivers get shut down now and then. Great cornerbacks get burned now and then. It doesn’t take away from their greatness!
This is just someone’s list, it’s not a damn dick! You don’t need to take it so damn hard.
This is the REAL Top 10 WR list (based on last season's performance and trending into 2023)
1. Justin Jefferson
2. Tyreek Hill
3. Davante Smith
4. Stephon Diggs
5. AJ Brown
6. Terry McLaurin
7. Cee Dee Lamb
8. Jaylen Waddle
9. Mike Evans
10. Amon Ra St Brown
✊🏾☮!! Always a great list
Appreciate you!!!
