Hi mate - this is Toby from Sydney Australia - I don’t know if you read any of these comments but I want to thank you heaps for one of your fantastic tips- I’ve been down on my farm in the highlands, we’ve had heaps of rain here and my mule got stuck in mud - next morning when I tried to move it I couldn’t get the gearstick back into neutral - I went everywhere on the web trying to sort it out and thank goodness I came across your RUclips‘s with the tip to hold the brake down when turning on the ignition does - it worked like a treat and the vehicle is now washed and parked back in the shed - thank you so much again - you’re a champion - and I’m now a subscriber - all the best and keep up the good work
fun fact about that oil catch can, if you operate the mule in winter the whole thing freezes up in about 4 hours, builds pressure in the engine causes the dipstick to shoot out and spray oil all over the engine. Its now permanently off my machine
yeah i brought it back to the dealer very mad because i bought this for work and took 5 hours for it fail while i was 12 hour drive from the dealer. They installed a long rubber tube instead of the oil catch can that froze up after about 7 hours.Horrible design and bad service. @@shooter-vx7xy
I have several Azula holsters, I really like them. Well made and half the $$ of some of the bigger names that are the same or even lesser quality in some instances. I also have a 2012 610 mule, they have many quirks, but they just keep on going. We could’ve went bigger, but didn’t need to and on some trails the mules size is a plus. And it fits in a pick up bed.
lol, what cinematography! Was that Alfred Hitchcock? Seriously, nice effort and useful video. Much appreciated. I really want to like the Mule. I really do. But every time I read or hear something about it, I keeping thinking "Yugo".
I have a 2500 lb winch in my 2020 SX that’s wonderful pulling large tree logs and pulling me out of trouble many times. Full tank lasts an eternity. I’m curious does anybody set up a snowplow using existing winch to pull blade up.?
My 2020 mule sx is hard to start sometimes after sitting in the hot sun, I can loosen the fuel cap and after the pressure is released from the tank it will start it's like the gas tank is not venting, I guess I can take it back to the dealer for this issue just for them to tell me that nothing is wrong with it
Do you know where I can get a new gear shifter plate? The one I use at work keeps popping into neutral while driving and I think it's simply the metal has been grinding down from shifting to and from high gear.
Love my ‘20 Mule SX. Zero Quirks except one...... you have to take off dash to add front brakes hydraulic fluid??? Now that’s beyond ridiculous.....otherwise it’s a fantastic machine
not sure if your newer mule is like mine but i have a '17 sx xc and if you open the front hatch there is a 4" rubber plug in the back of that compartment. its directly in line with the brake reservoir so i think that is what it is for.

That's great! Glad I could help!
Most quad bike start in gear if you hold the front brake on, but didn't know about Mule.

Yep. I think some of them had a recall because it was a fire hazard when it sprayed oil everywhere.

I wasn't sure about you at first but you won me over. The slide. The revolver. Mint bud.
Thanks for watching!

Nice rig, nice holster
Great video.
Great video.
Thanks!

It's super slow. I wouldn't suggest buying it for recreation at all. But for work or hunting, it's great.
Thinking about buying one
A new 2022 has a very annoying rattle. Sounds like its in the muffler area, but i cant find it yet. Seems to be connected to rpm

My only concern was the size of the fuel tank, so I'm glad you mentioned it takes forever too go through a tank full. Thanks!
Nice holster👍
Thanks! It's a good one.

You know, now that you mention it, I had something similar happen once. I'll do some experimenting and see what I come up with.
And yeah, warranties aren't worth much, in my experience.
Drill a 3mm hole in fuel cap. Problem solved.
quirk no.4 battery location
Are these aftermarket wheels and tires? They look wider, taller and more aggressive 👍🏻
No, they're stock. They come with the XC package.
Get rid of the factory belt and use an aftermarket harness. You don't have to use the shoulder straps.
What brand do you recommend?
@@cBodhi I used PRP with the automotive style latch and they worked great on my RZR.

Sorry, no. I don't know where you'd find that part.
Make yourself one
I took out the seatbelts first week I bought it. The mounts get right in your butt
@@tuberez That they do!
If you don't mind me asking, how tall are you?
6'2"
@@shooter-vx7xy thanks! I'm looking to buy one of these and I'm 6'4. Just wanted to see how you like it being a taller guy.
@@user-tz2dd6nb1i I feel like it has a lot of knee room but maybe not as much room for your feet because of the inner fenders.
👍👍👍👍👍
Does the mule have a dump bed?
It dumps but there is no hydraulic assist or anything.
