Is this the same technique for a taper fade? Im in Paul Mitchell and want to master barbering I have a ton of guy friends requesting stuff like this and im just not sure I got it down
What's the blade you use for your first guideline a 000 or a 00000? And can you use the same steps to take out the bottom line with just your masters instead of using your bgr's?
I have a question when you first started off when cutting his hair even to the desired length was your adjuster lever set closed or opened using the number 3 guard.
Can you please make a dvd with the uncut version/ with your voice and normal speed video(s)? I'd be willing to pay more then $30 for your instructional dvd on how to properly cut hair .. nice cut and keep up the good work!
Just a question! Why do you cut in a line you have to blend out later? I personally find it a lot easier to blend from the top down. So I would have started with the #3 all over, then #2 in the blending area, and worked my way down. I don't ever have lines to go back and blend out. I know everyone has their way of doing things and there is a reason for every thing we do--just wondering why you start this way? Does it make a tighter fade? Or just your way of doing things? Thanks! BTW: I love the way you fade his sideburn. The haircut is sick. :)
I ordered the stainless steel dynasty razor 1 month ago and have not received it yet. Payment went through successfully of course but did not receive a tracking number for my purchase Andy Fademaster
Hey i was just curious on what blade that was on the bgr's i was looking into getting the andis trimmer blade for my 76's but wanted to see if anybody tried them out before
Dude can you make a video like this in normal speed with not so loud music. I will buy it. My cuts are not as clean guess I need to master your moves better. Now wen is this DVD coming out? lol (seriously)
very nice fade!! question though. how do you deal with clients whose hair grows in different directions ( like one side grows at an angle, one side grows the opposite direction at an angle). I had a barber who made me get 1hr appointment slots bc of how long it took him to blend my fade. he said it was because "my hair grows in so many directions" (which it does). granted the fades came out really nice but I just didn't know if ALL barbers struggle with certain clients hair moreso than others because of the way it grows or even the texture, etc..
as long as you are cutting against the grain. in any direction the hair travels you shouldn't have a problem. However some are quicker, probably more experienced. But as long as it comes out clean. some clients require longer time.
yeah if you create a soft line with the skin and kinda lift the clipper as you create the line it will make it easier for the masters to match the length.
Great work but slow down when your teaching I have two pairs of Andis masters and still is trying to fade but the videos are too fast for me to keep up
Nice work.Wish all barbers took as much time and cared about the job they were doing as much as you.
